IOFPCL was founded in the year 2004 and incorporated under the Companies Act of 1956 is emboldened to take on the challenges to assist the member farmers in the production and marketing of Organic and Fairtrade certified products in the domestic and international markets. At the end of 2004, the Indian Organic Farmers Producers Company, formed a small group of farmers from the districts like Wayanad, Kannur, Palakkad and Idukki in Kerala. They were trained in organic farming under the leadership of the company and practiced organic farming... IOFPCL is basically dealing with low volume - high value organically produced commercial crops with the objective of empower the farmer, enable eco-sustainability and ensuring Safe Food... The company has been successful in the wholesale export of Organic and Fairtrade products to Europe and America for the past 13 years.
