JLPN

JLPN is a third-generation grower, family seedling operation owned and operated by John and Crystal Lewis. JLPN was formed as an off-shoot of Lew's Lakeshore Nursery in the year 2000. Until then, LLN was strictly a bare root seedling grower dating back to the 1960's. Bill Lewis (Father) had the vision and saw a need for seedlings with greater durability and higher quality standards than could be produced in the field. With that, he helped John build and form JLPN. What started off as a small container seedling production of 20,000 sq. ft. of greenhouse, over time, expanded into a 300,000 sq. ft. greenhouse growing facility, on 110 acres of land... From the onset, JLPN has produced deciduous seedlings in the Anderson Band Pot and in the summer, softwood rooted cuttings of deciduous shade tree cultivars.
