Angel joined J.C. BAR in Spring 2023. As Property Manager Coordinator, Angel will work directly under Helen Latchford, and Rob V. Gothier, III. Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to, maintaining tenant and vendor relationships, tracking and updating lease files, resolving tenant complaints, and ensuring tenants and vendors follow company rules, regulations and guidelines.
Angel received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Business Management from James Madison University. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Brett Michaels joined J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. in January 2024 as Vice President of Brokerage Services. Brett's background comes with a decade of sales, including 4+ years of commercial real estate experience. He focuses on, leasing, tenant, and landlord representation in transactions through the Maryland, Virginia, and Pennsylvania region.
Brett holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Salisbury's Perdue School of Business. He loves to listen to business podcasts and read the Baltimore Business Journal. In his spare time Brett can be found making connections on a golf course or working out at the gym.

Cathy Painter serves as the Assistant to the CEO/President Robert V. Gothier, Jr. Her responsibilities include all aspects of enhancing the president's effectiveness by providing information management support, scheduling and maintain all business and personal appointments, handling all confidential correspondence, travel arrangements, along with the preparation of contracts, assisting in shopping center closings, client files and handling a wide variety of situations involving the office management and administrative function of the office.
Charlie Wilson, who is a Paralegal and Notary, joined J.C. BAR Properties in June of 2022 and will be supporting Legal, Brokerage and Property Management. Charlie brings a diverse and extensive background in Real Estate with experience in Lease Administration, Litigation, Mortgage Resolution, Bankruptcy and Foreclosure, and with an emphasis on communication to manage the needs of our clients effectively and efficiently.
Charlie is from Pittsburgh and graduated from Community College of Allegheny County with A.S. in Paralegal Studies and a Paralegal Certificate.

Helen joined J.C.BAR Properties, Inc. in 2013 and holds the position of VP of Property Management. Helen is responsible for the Property Management department of J.C.BAR Properties, by overseeing a large portfolio of shopping center properties in the Central Pennsylvania and Maryland areas. In addition to retail property management, Helen has a strong background in leasing and managing office space, primarily Class A & B properties.

Attorney Jason Mitchell serves as the legal backbone of J.C. BAR Properties. Managing land development projects including acquisition, contract negotiations, permits, and construction management, Jason brings a fervor to the process that is unmatched anywhere else in the Mid-Atlantic region.
Jason is a lifelong fan of his alma mater, the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science, and a Juris Doctorate from the University's School of Law. He is a longstanding member of the American Bar Association (ABA), the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA) and the Cumberland County Bar Association (CCBA).
Jim Voulopos brings over 30 years of business acumen to J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. After beginning his professional career at a Big 6 public accounting firm, Jim passed the CPA examination, and then began working in the private sector for both large multinational firms and smaller family businesses.
He has been exposed to a variety of industries including retail, distribution and manufacturing. Most recently, he spent over a decade in the financial management of real estate, construction and land development organizations. As Controller for a south central Pennsylvania home builder, he was instrumental in modeling land acquisition opportunities and provided cost-cutting guidance to weather the downturn in the late 00's.
His accolades include a General Manager's Award for Excellence from a multibillion dollar manufacturer, and as Employee of the Week at a construction company.
As Controller with J.C. BAR Properties, he will put his financial talents to work in the areas of budgeting, cash flow, accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, payroll, human resources, state and local taxes, and financial modeling.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from The Pennsylvania State University, and an MBA from Indiana University.
Joshua Myers joined J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. in November 2020 and holds the position of Property Accountant. Josh's main responsibilities include supporting the controller in financial reporting, financial analysis, reconciliations, and accounting software implementation/migrations. In addition, Josh supports the property management group of J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. with various lease administration updates.

Kathy has been with J.C. BAR since 2015 in the role of Administrative and Accounting Support Coordinator. Her responsibilities include a full array of administrative functions from accounts payable processing to transactional scheduling and management support.

Kyle McLaughlin joined J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. in April 2023 as Vice President of Brokerage Services. Kyle's background comes with more than a decade of real estate, management, hospitality, and entrepreneurial experience. He focuses on sales, leasing, and tenant and landlord representation in transactions through the Mid-Atlantic Region. Kyle is also an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware where he teaches entrepreneurship and is involved in a number of consulting projects.

Melissa Lippe joined J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. in January 2022 as Principal, Senior Vice President. Melissa manages over 4.5M SF of retail and office space in the Triple BAR Group fund and the J.C. BAR Properties portfolio to oversee the asset management and leasing. In addition, Melissa works with the acquisition and development teams to evaluate and underwrite opportunities for the company's expansion.

Michael S. Murchie is an experienced executive in the financial services industry. Over his almost 30 year career at M&T Bank, Michael both honed his understanding of the commercial real estate finance business as well as launched many new businesses.
Most recently, Michael led M&T's commercial banking operation in the Mid-Atlantic region including commercial real estate finance as well as leading many specialty businesses during his career including the investment banking business, leveraged lending/sponsor coverage as well as asset based lending. Further, Michael was a permanent member of M&T's loan committee and is respected for his credit acumen and commercial real estate finance judgement.
Regarding commercial real estate, early in his career Michael built a west coast commercial real estate business for M&T while later in his career Michael was a Board Member of M&T Realty Capital Corp., M&T's commercial mortgage brokerage arm which included Fannie Mae DUS, FreddieMac and life company placements.
Michael retired from M&T in early 2020 and joined J.C. BAR Properties, Inc as Chief Investment Officer.
Michael obtained his BA in economics at Williams College graduating cum laude and earned his MBA at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance and Real Estate.
Michele has been with J.C. BAR since April 2023 in the role of Property Accountant.
With 30 years of experience, her responsibilities include assisting the Controller with financial statements, and other leasing duties.
Michele has an Associates degree in Accounting and Finance.

Property development and management is Rob Gothier's passion; one that inspired him to build J.C. BAR Properties from the ground up, and to be known as the partner of choice for client's seeking creative solutions to complex strategies. As President of J.C. BAR Properties, Rob inspires his team to seek non-traditional, non-cookie-cutter approaches to all aspects of the construction and property management process. He maintains a hands-on, visible presence in the office and in the field, and is proud of the enduring relationships his team has built over the years.
Specifically, Rob is responsible for the coordination of the J.C. BAR's development, brokerage, and asset management services. Active in strategic and financial analysis, zoning, leasing, and project financing, Rob is recognized as a developer willing to take on complex projects with an attention to detail that brings quality and superior service to each project.

Steve brings over 20 years of real estate experience to J.C. BAR Properties and is a highly accomplished agent.
He represents a diverse mix of local brands which include beauty supply, grocery, variety store, and dollar plus operators.
Zack Smith joined J.C. BAR Properties, Inc. in May 2022 as the Senior Graphic Designer and will report in the Conshohocken office. Zack comes to J.C. BAR with over 16 years of design experience specializing in graphic design, marketing, print, signage, and digital advertising. Zack will be managing the company's marketing efforts to oversee the marketing, media content, social media campaigns, and website to deliver high-end results for J.C. BAR's partners, investors, and clients.
Zack will be managing the Brokerage & Asset Management departments to produce research-driven, cutting-edge marketing materials. Zack is well-versed in Adobe Creative Suite including, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, ESRI, Regis, and the social media platforms.
Prior to joining J.C. BAR Properties, Zack worked at Philadelphia Sign Company, Metro Commercial, and a variety of companies across several industries.
In Zack's free time he enjoys weightlifting, martial arts, reading, and board games.
