He was born in Coimbra in 1960 and graduated from Universidade Técnica de Lisboa [Lisbon Technical University] in 1984 with a bachelor's degree with honours in Architecture. He is a professor in the Faculty of Architecture of the Viseu campus of Universidade Católica Portuguesa [Portuguese Catholic University] by 2012 and is doctorate from the University of the Basque Country - Department of Architecture, in San Sebastián...
