Master wigmaker and hair stylist FREDERIC ASPIRAS has earned his reputation as one of the leading artists in the industry. The son of a hairdresser, Aspiras grew up in salons and began learning the trade by age thirteen. In 2004, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a hairstylist. There, industry professionals quickly realized his unique, fashion-forward looks were created to inspire. Five years after his move, Aspiras was introduced to Lady Gaga. She was immediately fascinated by his unparalleled ability to transform hair into glamorous works of art. Soon after, Gaga knew she couldn't go on her Monster Ball tour without Aspiras by her side. Creating an equally unique and impressive look for every performance, Aspiras instantly became Gaga's go-to for all things hair. Aspiras has worked exclusively with Gaga since November 2009, creating some of today's most memorable hair looks. Conceptualizing a wig made with a mix of human hair and fiber optics to make the hair illuminate with color is just one example of Aspiras' expert abilities. Larisa Love

This shooting star may seem like she's already on top, but her star's still rising. Larisa Love rose to the top of the professional hair industry after just 6 years, but it has not been without hard work and dedication to her craft. Love's popularity on Instagram (@larisadoll) catapulted her into stardom in the professional world of hair and put her talent front and center amid an intense pool of creative artists. Graduating in 2010 from Marinello Beauty School, after receiving her license she shared her time between three salons in Beverly Hills and West Hollywood California for a year before realizing she wanted to build her own clientele on her own terms and started doing so outside the salon. 2013 was a watershed year as she used the then burgeoning platform of Instagram to grow her clientele, which slowly but surely led to moves to newer, bigger more modern studios. Her list of accomplishments already includes the 2013 Emmys, features in Modern Salon just 4 years after graduating from cosmetology school, and less than one year after was named CosmoProf Beauty's Brand Ambassador, April of 2015 through mid-2018 and opened her own salon in the middle of it all. In 2018 was a pivotal year for Love as she was named a headliner for Joico Global Destination Education in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic where she emparted her coloring expertise and social media savvy to over 1,000 professional colleagues. But by far the biggest shining moment came May 1st, 2018 when Joico announced her as Joico Brand Ambassador. The first and best name in healthy hair, was thrilled to partner with Love and help bring her talent to new heights, and her talent in turn to heighten Joico educators, artists and pro-users' color mastery alike. A long-time user of Joico color including LumiShine and Color Intensity, she's with the brand because, "Joico puts so much passion into everything they do with clients and stylists in mind. Ricardo Santiago

In the hair industry now for 10 years, Ricardo has been called the "Jack of all trades;" specializing in everything from vibrant/mermaid colors, rich naturals, to perfectly blended balayage and highlights. With a special emphasis on styling to accentuate his cuts and colors, Ricardo incorporates every aspect of this industry into his work as another weapon in his arsenal, down to his barbering roots. He has a constant hunger for more education and is doing what he can to learn more and better improve his skills in hopes of passing that knowledge onto others. Born December 19th 1983 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, Ricardo Santiago attended cosmetology school in Sarasota, Florida at Meridian Career Institute, and started his career as an assistant at John Carl Salon and Spa in downtown Sarasota. Ricardo owns his own studio and corporation, Stylist Ricardo Santiago, Inc., which takes much of his energy and focus. One of his favorite passions is teaching and sharing his craft and gets to do this traveling around the country for Joico as an Expert Educator and Artist. He currently resides in Orlando, Florida where he enjoys playing his favorite sport, basketball and spending time with his wife and family. In the future he plans to continue platform presentation work and educating, as he works toward becoming the next NAHA winner and achieving his ultimate goal of becoming a creative director.

Richard Mannah

With over 25 years of experience in the hair industry that includes a leadership role at Toni & Guy London and spans across three continents (for major roles, though he's traveled the world on assignment) Richard Mannah has amounted a veritable powerhouse of experience. Manah has amassed laudable credits such as winning awards like London Hairdresser of the Year 2011/2012 (British Hairdressing Awards), being a part of the Australian F.A.M.E. Team for the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, working on NY and London Fashion Week projects for Vivienne Westwood, Tommy Hilfiger, Vera Wang, and his work has been published in industry and commercial publications alike - everything from Elle and British Vogue to Creative Head and The Journal. What makes Mannah such an incredible educator and mentor beyond his laudable talent? - he's also someone young up-and-comers can relate to and connect with. Having twice taking the title of "Newcomer of the Year" (1999 and again in 2000) - walking the path many of them are embarking on, he's been where many of his students and mentees are now. Right at the beginning of their burgeoning careers, learning and growing and ready for more! For 2018 Rick Henry has partnered with Joico, the healthy hair company, as Katy Perry's hairstylist and colorist for her world concert tour, "Witness: The Tour" and for the new season of American Idol, so Henry and Joico will be bringing you all of those amazing and fun Katy looks all year long! Henry's career has been nothing less than a dream! Originally from Orange County, CA, Rick knew early on that he had a passion for making people beautiful. In 1999, after graduating from The Vidal Sassoon Academy, Rick's career took off. Right out of hair school, he began to work with his first celebrity client. This paved the way to the success he has today. From the red carpet to the big screen, Rich works with some of the biggest stars today. Over the last 16 years, he has traveled with his celebrity clients to over 50 countries around the world. Whether it is a World Tour, or a World Premiere Red Carpet, you will see Rick's work on clients such as Katy Perry, Leona Lewis, Britney Spears, Rita Ora, and Brittany Snow, just to name a few. Sara Jones

Her strong skills and leadership capabilities advanced Sara's career quickly, eventually holding top executive positions with several major manufacturers. Zoë Carpenter

From "tow-headed" kid to "dirty blonde" teen, it took this now quintessential hi-lift blonde many trips to a salon before she learned, SHE needed to take her blonde strands into her own hands if she wanted it done right. Joico Guest Artist, Zoë Carpenter is a blonding pro, but she didn't get there on her own. Initially trained at the Rizzieri Aveda School for Beauty and Wellness in Cherry Hill, NJ her first salon job was for the Rizzieri Salon itself but her first apprenticeship came when the gutsy blonde took matters into her own hands (much like her hair) and emailed renowned master colorist Beth Minardi. She was seeking adventure and a challenge and she certainly got it at the high-end, upper east side of Manhattan. She would come to repeat this adventure-seeking when she decided to pack up and move across the country to sunny southern California and challenge herself yet again working at Kim Vo Salon in Beverly Hills where she's been since 2015.
