Doug Ridenour

Job Titles:

Doug Ridenour has more than 24 years of experience in environmental / natural resource consulting. He has specialized in wetlands consulting, performing Preliminary Wetland Determinations and Wetland Delineations, assisting private and public sector clients with the Section 404 permitting process, and designing and implementing wetland mitigation projects. Mr. Ridenour has also completed numerous threatened and endangered species investigations, tree surveys, environmental assessments, biological evaluations, and stormwater studies, and has written Wildlife Management Plans and served as an Expert Witness. Additionally, Mr. Ridenour has coordinated and overseen the transportation and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, and has completed Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. Mr. Ridenour is a Certified Wildlife Biologist, attends workshops focusing on wetlands, streams, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permitting, and presents wetlands consulting seminars to engineering firms with which Jones & Ridenour, Inc. regularly works.

Lance C. Jones

Lance C. Jones has more than 17 years of experience in environmental / natural resource consulting. He has specialized in vegetation ecology wetlands consulting, performing Preliminary Wetland Determinations and Wetland Delineations, assisting private and public sector clients with the Section 404 permitting process, and designing and implementing wetland mitigation projects. Mr. Jones has also completed numerous threatened and endangered species investigations, tree surveys, environmental assessments (Texas Water Development Board and Rural Utilities Grants), performed flora and fauna studies, biological evaluations, and stormwater studies, written Wildlife Management Plans and served as an Expert Witness. Additionally, Mr. Jones has co-authored a book for use of identifying woody species in East Texas during winter months. Mr. Jones has presented numerous papers on the effects of fire on vegetation, attends workshops focusing on wetlands, streams, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers permitting, and presents wetlands consulting seminars to engineering firms with which Jones & Ridenour, Inc. regularly works.
