Achilleas is Group Commercial & business development Director, responsible for developing existing business and new growth areas, market and client financial analysis, CRM and billing.
Achilleas joined Kalimbassieris in 2006 as a claims handler and developed as a senior handler and consultant and with management responsibilities in both Greece and overseas. In 2016 he pioneered our TTT product (trouble shooting travel team) and in 2017 he was appointed commercial director. Before joining Kalimbassieris Achilleas worked for the Hellenic Marine Environmental Association (Helmepa) where he updated members of new legislation and trained seafarers on pollution prevention whilst at the same time served as a member of the Greek delegation to the IMO Marine Environment Protection Committee.
Achilleas holds a BSc (Hons) in Maritime Studies from John Moores university in Liverpool and an LLM from Cardiff University.

Adam joined Kalimbassieris in 2013 and focuses mainly on administration and management data analysis for the whole group. As an active member of the Hellenic Red Cross and being fully certified for First Aid Response, he is usually involved in people's claims, acting as the liaison person with treating doctors, hospitals and patients.
Prior to joining Kalimbassieris, Adam worked in logistics for a shipping and trading company.
Adam has studied Business Administration in the Technological Institute of Kozani and Political Science in Panteion University in Athens.
Ahmed joined Kalimbassieris in 2017 having previously worked in accounting and auditing for local firms.
He obtained his BSc and diploma in Accounting and Auditing from the University of Alexandria.
Ahmed is Chairman of Mahoney Shipping & Maine Services, a diversified shipping group established in Alexandria in 1946. He studied Marine & Power Engineering at the University of Alexandria as well as International Logistics at the Arab Academy, before joining his family's company in 1987 and working up the ranks until 2014 when he became Chairman.
Ahmed has held various prestigious positions within the local shipping community including chairman of Damietta Chamber of Shipping and Chairman of Alexandria Chamber of Shipping.

Alexandros is Group Director for overseas operations with special responsibility for Kalimbassieris Turkey and Kalimbassieris Egypt. In addition to his management role, Alexandros assumes a coordinating role in casualty cases and trouble shoots on complex matters.
Alexandros joined Kalimbassieris in 2001 and has served in a number of positions within the Greek office and overseas. In 2013 he assumed responsibility for the Turkish P&I operation and in 2017 for the development of Kalimbassieris Egypt. He has over the years worked on a number of high-profile cases as senior consultant and has been on the forefront of our development in casualty response.
Alexandros is a mechanical Engineer with a BSc from the Greek Technical Institute of Patras and a Master's in Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire.

Anna joined us in 2021 and is managing the project for upgrading the Group ERP system.
Her 30-year experience comes mostly from service and technology companies; the last 10, from information technology projects in the areas of Business Intelligence and Software. Her versatile experience has shaped a market and goals oriented Senior Executive, digitally enabled, problem solver and team player.
Having strong analysis and synthesis skills she has managed projects, customers, suppliers & resources, practicing flexible leadership. She has held Marketing, Client Service & Communications managerial positions, in organizations operating in Greece and abroad.
She holds a BA in Marketing Management and a second major in Management & Organisational Behaviour. She speaks fluently Greek and English while she is also learning German.
Antonis heads the Romanian operations and deals with the entire spectrum of cases. He joined Kalimbassieris office in Greece in 1993 as a Chief officer having sailed on reefer, bulker and general cargo vessels.
Between 1997 and 1999, Antonis headed our Bulgarian operations and then returned to Greece to focus on complex loss prevention projects and reinforce the P&I team. As of end 2005 Antonis relocated to Constantza.
Emir joined Kalimbassieris Maritime in 2024 as a Senior Claims Handler. He graduated from Koc University in 2012 and holds an LLM degree in International Maritime Law from Swansea University, from which he graduated in 2015.
He is a lawyer registered with the İstanbul Bar Association and held an Associate position at a leading law firm in Istanbul specializing in maritime cases, litigation, and legal consultancy.
Emir deals with the entire spectrum of P&I claims.
Armagan is a marine surveyor, primarily dealing with H&M work.
He joined Kalimbassieris in May 2022. His experience includes 6 years of ocean going sea service in the engine department onboard different types of vessels. Before joining us, he was the engineer in charge of the maintenance of an abrasives production factory in Turkey.
Armagan is a graduate of Istanbul Technical University.

Athanasia joined Kalimbassieris in 2016 and is responsible for billing, statistics and data analyses in Turkey.
Prior to joining Kalimbassieris, Athanasia worked as Greek-Turkish translator and as an administrative assistant of a Piraeus based shipbroking firm providing liaison between HQ and their Istanbul branch.
A Greek national, Athanasia studied Turkish at the Languages Faculty of the University of Athens.
Baris is a P&I surveyor in our Istanbul team. He joined the Istanbul office in early 2023. Before Kalimbassieris Maritime, he sailed for eight years on general cargo vessel, bulk carriers and tanker ships up to the Chief Officer's rank. He then worked for 2 years as a DPA in a shipping company.
Cagla joined Kalimbassieris in 2023 as a claims handler. She is a lawyer registered with the Istanbul Bar. After graduating from Bilkent University in 2020 she worked for a well known law firm in Istanbul specializing in the commercial carriage of goods by both road and sea and ship arrest procedures.
Cagla is fluent in both Turkish and English and handles claims primarily on P&I cases.
He joined Kalimbassieris in 2023. Cem carries an extensive marine technical experience having worked as Technical Manager and Commercial Manager for shipping companies in Turkey. His experience also includes 8 years of ocean-going sea service as Chief Engineer onboard different types of vessels.
Cem is a Marine Engineer with BSc from Piri Reis University in Turkey.
Christiana is a P&I claims handler and joined Kalimbassieris Egypt in Alexandria in 2020.
Prior to joining, she worked for a local correspondent and for a container liner in the sales and logistics department. She has also worked as a lawyer in a Greek law firm.
Christiana has studied Law at the National and Kapodistrian University in Athens, and has an MSc in International Transport and Logistics from the Arab Academy for Science, technology and Maritime Transport in Alexandria.
CEO of Kalimbassieris Group with responsibility for all aspects of the Group's activity.
Christina joined the company in 1989 and took over management in 1991. She led the company's expansion into new markets and service areas and has had a coordinating role within the group's emergency response team dealing with major casualties. Studied at the London Institute of Shipping and transport and has a postgraduate degree from UWIST, Cardiff. Before joining Kalimbassieris, she worked as claims adjuster with P&O Bulk Carriers and London based average adjusters.

Christina joined Kalimbassieris in 2001 and is responsible for the reception and other general office service duties. Prior to joining Kalimbassieris she worked as secretary at a foreign languages school. Christina has a diploma in administration studies from Karellis Faculty.
Cristian is a P&I surveyor who joined our office in Constantza in 2004. Prior to joining he worked for a local engineering firm and has a BSc in Harbour Machinery & Installations from the Ovidius University in Constantza.

Denitsa joined Kalimbassieris Maritime in 2023 and is responsible for database work, analysis for the company and administration support for KM Bulgaria. Before joining Kalimbassieris, Denista worked as Procurement and Supply specialist at Promet Steel Metinvest and technical assistant in private companies.
Denitsa obtained her bachelor degree of Computer Science and Technology from Technical University at Varna. Apart from her native Bulgarian she also speaks English and German.

Dilek joined us in 2020 and has previously had a career in journalism, marketing and sales, lastly as Deputy General Manager of a Media Group in Turkey, before relocating to Greece.
Dilek holds diploma degree in Journalism and has been awarded a Master degree in Business Administration.
Dilek is trilingual in Turkish (native), Greek and English.

Dimitris is Technical Director of the Group with responsibility for the technical operations and the development of the technical competencies and training. Also responsible for the Greek and Cypriot operations and the out of base casualty and H&M cases in the regions where we do not retain own offices.
Dimitris joined the company in 1999 and assumed the role of Technical Director in 2005. He has extensive experience with casualty work and with large repair tendering projects. He was involved in the company's early development into P&I and pioneered the dual technical consultancy and claims handling role. Before joining Kalimbassieris he worked as deputy director for a Classification Society and served as a member of the Greek delegation to the IMO for 10 years.
Dimitris is a naval architect and marine engineer, with a degree from the National Technical University of Athens.

He holds a BSc in International Relations and has gathered experience in logistics and handling emergencies at the high-end hospitality business, thus honing transferable skills for his new career with us.

Evangelia is a Naval Architect & Marine Engineer, graduate from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), who joined our company in 2023, with a view to undertake the position of Deputy Technical Director, assuming responsibility to the technical operations of the Group and the development of the technical competencies, expertise and training.
Before joining Kalimbassieris, Evangelia has acquired vast and remarkable experience in new building and retrofitting projects of various ship types, in major Japanese, Chinese and Korean Shipyards, working for prominent Greek ship owning companies.
Apart from native Greek, Evangelia is fluent in English.
Ezgi joined our Istanbul team in 2010 with 15 years' experience in accounting and independent auditing. She is a graduate of the Istanbul University.
Furkan Kuyu is a P&I surveyor and he deals with the whole range of P&I work. He is currently sat in our Istanbul offices.
Prior to joining Kalimbassieris in 2023, he worked as a Chief Officer on board bulk carriers for one year and thereafter worked in shipyards as a Dock Master in the Tuzla region.
Furkan is a graduate of Izmir Dokuz Eylul University.
George established Kalimbassieris Maritime in Piraeus in 1979 and spent more than 30 years with the company, leading the company and dealing with the most complex casualty and consultancy cases. The company is imbued with his trademark qualities of integrity and attention to detail.
He began his career as a marine engineer with the ex-Hellenic Royal Navy. After serving for 12 years, he was appointed as resident superintendent of a 7-year newbuilding program in Japan for Global Chartering and Brokering. After a stint in London, he returned to Greece and held positions as superintendent and technical manager for several Greek shipping companies. He later held managerial positions in a number of major shipping operations, including managing director of Venizelos Shipping and Salamis Shipyards, as well as repair manager of Elefsis Shipyards during the height of its operation.
George is a senior Consultant involved with both H&M and P&I work.
George joined Kalimbassieris in 1995 and his casualty work involvement expands over East Med, Black Sea & Adriatic overseeing large repair jobs on behalf of H&M Underwriters, as well as P&I work inclusive of the first ever accident and pollution to invoke SCOPIC.
Prior to joining Kalimbassieris, George worked as assistant superintendent for a Greek shipowner and is a graduate with an MEng in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne.
George joined us in 2015 as a marine surveyor and is involved with the entire spectrum of P&I cases including casualty work. He is also part of the TTT (Troubleshooting Traveling Team) and travels on principals' instructions on cases outside our region. George is a Master Mariner (Captain, Class B) and prior to joining Kalimbassieris he worked as Operations Manager of a fishing fleet operating in Africa and Greece, and Operations Manager/DPA for a bulker operator. George is a graduate of the Aspropyrgos Nautical Academy.
Apart from native Greek and English, George is fluent in French.

Ghada joined Kalimbassieris Egypt in 2018. Prior to joining Kalimbassieris she worked in a management and logistics position with a local shipping agency in Alexandria.

Gokhan is a senior P&I surveyor and handler undertaking the full spectrum of P&I work responsible for all ports along the south coast of Turkey, inclusive of Mersin and Antalya.
He joined our Iskenderun office in 2014 as a Master having sailed on board bulkers, tankers and OBOs, and with 8 years shore experience of a superintendent and DPA of a local OBO operator
Gokhan is a graduate of the Istanbul Technical University.
