KHAROD LAW FIRM - Key Persons

Ketan U. Kharod

Mr. Kharod chose to become a lawyer for two primary reasons: to assist those injured by the misconduct of others and to ensure access to the judicial system. He has represented plaintiffs in a wide variety of personal injury cases, from common car and trucking collisions to complex asbestos, pharmaceutical, and qui tam whistleblower litigation at the trial or appellate levels. In addition, he provides litigation support in lawsuits in state and federal courts throughout the country, whether by assisting in motion practice or serving as local counsel. Mr. Kharod also represents individuals in general civil litigation matters, including family and employment law. Prior to entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Sam Sparks of the U.S. District Court in the Austin Division of the Western District of Texas. Mr. Kharod received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Texas Law Review and a Board Member of Texas Law Fellowships. Before moving to Austin in 1997, he earned his Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Georgetown University and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Georgetown Public Policy Institute. Mr. Kharod is also a credentialed mediator, completing his mediation training from the University of Texas Center for Public Policy Dispute Resolution.
