For more than 30 years, Peter Edward has been the leading glass artist in South Florida specializing in the finest quality hand made custom art glass, all types of glass etching, etched glass doors, carved glass, illuminated art glass, painted glass and decorative mirrors. Peter Edward joined the company in 1984. He has invested his entire career in creating custom art glass. From a young age he realized his unique artistic talent and knew he would work with his hands to create visually stunning artwork. During high school he created beautiful airbrushed artwork on various media. He used freehand drawing techniques and created artwork including commercial art for advertisements and signs. At 21, Peter Edward realized that glass would be the medium for his art when he moved to Florida from New York to join Krystal Glass Company. He immediately mastered glass carving and soon perfected glass etching which requires a higher level of skill and detail. Later he began experimenting with painted glass and multi-colored LED lighting for glass. With his natural ability to draw custom artwork and then sand carve it to create fine etched and carved glass and mirror, Krystal Glass Company quickly became a one-stop shop for clients desiring high quality custom fine art glass. As the years went by, Peter Edward's skill increased with the practice and new designs that each custom glass project offered. He quickly became a master craftsman at glass etching and glass carving. He bought Krystal Glass Company in 2002 and moved it to its current location in Pompano Beach. Today, he still personally creates each piece of custom art glass exactly to the client's specifications. All his beautiful carved and etched glass is done by hand. Peter Edward is responsible for creating the signature glass etching tones and detailed shading that have fueled the company's success for more than three decades. He is often complimented on his excellent customer service and pleasant personality which is why most business comes from referrals and repeat clients. His original wave design, Fluid, is a line of decorative colored glass for vanity mirrors, glass vanity tops, custom glass table tops and glass bar tops using carved and painted glass. The beautiful wave design in the carved glass mimics flowing water which is perfect in bathrooms. The painted glass can be any color.
