KVANDYKE AND ASSOCIATES

I began my construction career in 1974 as a carpenter's helper and also as a landscape laborer. I learned the carpentry trade and worked on residential projects, then became a construction crew supervisor, then became a project manager, then became a general contractor. I have worked on residential remodeling, new single- family construction, new multi-family construction, adaptive reuse of existing buildings for multi-family, commercial remodeling and adaptive reuse, and new commercial construction. I have had many opportunities to engage in the design process, which I very much enjoyed. We have explored a variety of new construction materials and methods, and always sought to have a sustainable process and an efficient product. I have enjoyed working with a group of dedicated and creative colleagues in all trades and related professions.
