La Boite is Australia's longest continuously running theatre company, celebrating its 100th year of operation in 2025. Located in Kelvin Grove Brisbane, La Boite is home to the iconic 400 seat Roundhouse Theatre, the country's only purpose-built theatre in-the-round... At La Boite, we acknowledge the country on which we work and the traditional custodians of this land - the Turrbal and Jagera people. We pay our respects to their Elders past and present. We honour the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people whose lands, winds and waters we all now share and their ancient and enduring cultures. This country was the home of storytelling long before La Boite existed, and we are privileged and grateful to share our stories here today.
