Boarding facilities often require their boarders to stall their horses, use the barn farrier, and barn vet. At Lake Lavon Stables you are leasing pasture space and can choose your own service professionals. As part of the lease we can feed grain once a day if your horse requires it. Free choice hay is available when the pasture grass is dormant... Lake Lavon Stables was created to provide a peaceful place for horses and their owners to enjoy their time together. We believe horses have fewer health and emotional issues when allowed to live as close to their natural environment as possible. For this reason, we limit the number of horses to protect our grass pastures from overgrazing... Horses are happiest and healthiest when they are allowed to freely move about and graze on grass. We provide pasture leasing with shelters in 3 different grass-covered pastures and free choice hay in the winter.
