Achille Castiglioni was born in Milan in 1918 and graduated in architecture in 1944. Until 1940, he and his two brothers were committed to experimenting with industrial products. From 1944 onwards, and therefore immediately after his degree, he began a series of in-depth research on forms and new materials, with a view to creating a form of integral design.
Carlotta de Bevilacqua was born in Milan to an Austrian father and a mother who was originally from the city of Parma. It was in this bustling city that she completed her studies, obtaining a degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic University in 1983. From then on, her career and professional accomplishments constantly reached skywards, until settling on the solid professional career she still enjoys today. Eric Solé is a designer and architect who was born in Paris in1960. He studied architecture in 1987 at UP1 and as soon as he graduated, opened his studio trax design. Here he dealt with shop furnishings, interior design, villas and urban furnishings (1990). Many of his projects, especially those created in the early years as a designer, were based on a careful and technical selection that followed the basic transformation of materials.
