Chad Mudd

A lifelong resident of Creole, Louisiana, in Cameron Parish, and a graduate of South Cameron High School, Chad Mudd has devoted his career to serving the citizens of his community. After earning his undergraduate and law degrees, Chad returned to his home parish as a law clerk for the Honorable H. Ward Fontenot in the 38th Judicial District Court before founding Mudd Bruchhaus & Keating, LLC a year later. Chad is a seasoned trial attorney, focusing his practice on personal injury litigation, maritime & offshore litigation, general liability claims, and environmental litigation on behalf of landowners who have experienced damage to their property resulting from historical oil & gas exploration and production or plant operations. He is married to Michelle Thompson Mudd, and the couple and their twin daughters, Ava and Alivia, continue to reside in Cameron Parish. Like any true Creole native, Chad is an avid hunter, fisherman, and cattleman. When not spending time with his family or enjoying the great outdoors, Chad spends his free time supporting youth and civic organizations in his community and the surrounding areas.

David Bruchhaus

A founding member of Mudd Bruchhaus & Keating, LLC since 1998, David Bruchhaus is an experienced trial attorney with strong roots in the community. He was raised in Elton, Louisiana, in Jefferson Davis Parish, where he graduated from Elton High School as valedictorian before pursuing his higher education and earning his law degree. Since his admittance to practice law as a member of the Louisiana Bar Association, David has devoted his career to serving the people of Southwest Louisiana and Acadiana. His track record includes achieving favorable jury verdicts for a range of personal injury cases, developing an extensive and successful workers' compensation practice, litigating large collection and lien cases on behalf of small business clients, environmental litigation of behalf of landowners who have experienced damage to their property resulting from historical oil & gas exploration and production or plant operations, and handling hurricane claims for both homeowners and businesses following the damage caused by Hurricanes Rita and Ike. He has tried cases and handled claims throughout the region - including in Calcasieu, Cameron, Allen, Acadia, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, and Iberia parishes. In his personal life, David enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 20 years, Staci, and their two children, Samuel and Maggie. Jamie C. Gary

Jamie C. Gary is an attorney licensed in Louisiana and Texas. He was born in Houston and raised in Lake Charles. After graduating from Sam Houston High School, he attended Louisiana State University (LSU) where he earned an undergraduate degree and a Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Civil Law at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center. Jamie is admitted to practice in all Louisiana courts, including all U.S. Districts. He is also admitted to practice in all Texas courts and the U.S. Southern and Eastern Districts of Texas. Jamie has practiced law across South Louisiana since 2004. In addition to representing individuals and businesses, Jamie also serves as counsel for the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office. Jamie has developed an extensive real estate practice based on the earned trust of lenders, realtors, developers, individuals and businesses in Southwest Louisiana. In 2018, he started Safeguard Title, which provides a wide variety of title closing services. He is a licensed title insurance agent and currently is an agent for Security Title of Baltimore. Away from work, Jamie enjoys spending time with his wife, Alison, and three children, Baylie, Gabrielle, and Beau. He is a long-distance runner and a lifelong LSU and Saints fan.

Since his admittance to the Louisiana State Bar Association in 1984, M. Keith Prudhomme has served the Lake Charles area as a private practice attorney with various local law firms. He joined Mudd Bruchhaus & Keating, LLC in January of 2009, applying his years of legal experience to represent and achieve overwhelmingly positive results for his personal injury victim clients and landowners with environmental damage to their property. Born in Lafayette, Louisiana, but raised in Lake Charles, Keith is a graduate of LaGrange Senior High School, where he met his wife of more than 40 years. Keith and his wife, the former Jan Lungaro, have three children, Todd, and twins Emily and Sarah, all of whom followed in their father's footsteps as Louisiana State University graduates. Matthew Keating

A Lake Charles native and seasoned litigator, Matt Keating graduated from Barbe High School with honors in 1998. As a member of Mudd Bruchhaus & Keating, he devotes his knowledge and more than ten years of litigation experience to ensuring positive outcomes for his clients. The focus of his practice encompasses a variety of civil claims and transactional work, concentrating on personal injury and environmental litigation. To date, he has represented hundreds of landowners in environmental contamination cases arising out of historical oil & gas exploration and production on their properties. Matt has also successfully handled personal injury cases of all kinds involving motor vehicle accidents to on-the-job accidents with injuries ranging from back and neck surgery, severe burns, traumatic brain injury, and paraplegia. Matt has successfully tried numerous jury and bench trials across Louisiana - including in Calcasieu, Cameron, Beauregard, Orleans, Terrebonne, Lafayette, Acadia, Caddo, East Baton Rouge, and St. Tammany parishes. Matt married his wife Amanda in 2007, and the couple has four children: Rylee, Miles, Alex, and Rosalie. Born and raised in Lake Charles, Wes Romero graduated from Barbe High School in 2002. He attended Louisiana State University, where he graduated with a degree in Biological Sciences. Thereafter, Wes attended Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. In law school, Wes received CALI awards for earning the top grade in Louisiana Civil Procedure and Legal Research/Writing. Following law school, he returned to Lake Charles as a law clerk for the Honorable Clayton Davis in the 14 th Judicial District Court. Wes practiced civil litigation with a local law firm for eight years prior to joining Mudd Bruchhaus & Keating, LLC. In his personal life, Wes enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, and sports. Wes is married to local Veterinarian, Meghan Romero. The couple has two children: Charlie and Kate. The Romeros are members of The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, and Charlie attends school at I.C.C.S.
