Jim is responsible for managing daily production and plan preparation. His local knowledge and more than 20 years of experience help guide plans efficiently and successfully through the review process and construction. He takes pride in solving problems and implementing cost savings during plan preparation and is committed to clients through completion of a project and bond release.
Jim also is actively engaged in entitlement applications. He approaches land planning from an engineering perspective to help bring a planning vision to a reality on the ground. Jim is a licensed professional engineer in Virginia with an Engineering degree from Virginia Tech.
Joan is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the company's day-to-day operational activities and providing administrative and logistical support to the entire staff. She is the lynchpin of our company, applying her extraordinary organizational skills to ensure that everything runs smoothly and effectively.
Joan oversees accounting and billing, with a commitment to ensuring that all client invoices are timely, accurate, and easy to understand. She also handles communication with clients and vendors, manages the administrative staff, and supervises our human resources, payroll and marketing activities.
With over 25 years of professional experience, Joan possesses a vast array of business knowledge that she applies to improving our business performance and customer satisfaction. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, National Association of Credit Management and is a commissioned Notary in Virginia.
