Adam James

Adam joined LDB Group in February 2023 and is a member of both Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and the SMSF Association. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting and finance. He spent about thirteen years in public practice as well as the superannuation industry, where he particularly enjoyed assisting clients in managing their self-managed superannuation funds. Adam is passionate about delivering a high-quality and efficient service to his clients while establishing and maintaining long-term relationships.

Amy Karipidis

Amy Karipidis plays a key role as a Manager at LDB Group, advising a portfolio of clients on tax and accounting matters. In addition to leading a team, she works closely with businesses from start-up phase through to scaling and selling. On a daily basis, she manages a portfolio of clients that covers a range of industries, including the medical sector, builders, game developers and the tech industry, wholesalers, and high-net-worth family groups. She also specialises in advising on business matters and tax technicalities. This includes working on mergers and acquisitions, including the sale of businesses, and supporting clients in meeting their business and tax compliance obligations.

Bruce Lundstrom

Bruce is a founding partner of LDB Accountants & Advisors. Bruce commenced his accounting career in 1975 with the Australian Taxation Office in the Assessing Branch and in 1978 joined a big four company working in the accounting services and taxation areas. In 1986 Bruce joined with Tim Dickson, a work colleague, and together they started the practice that became LDB Accountants and Advisors. Bruce's responsibilities include Business Client Services partner and Director of LDB Superannuation Services Pty Ltd and LDB Wealth Solutions Pty Ltd. Bruce's main area of expertise is in self-managed superannuation. Bruce is a Member of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Chris Pomaroff

Chris Pomaroff joined LDB Group in May 2021, where he was brought on to take over a book of clients from a previous adviser who was retiring. He has extensive experience in financial planning and client services, and has managed a portfolio of 120 clients in previous roles. Day to day, Chris provides clients with peace of mind and a high level of service, and oversees everything from regular client meetings and reviews, to talking clients through their retirement plans and investment options. He has worked with many clients long-term, helping them to plan and manage their finances over a 10 to 20 year period. Chris has a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from Monash University and has obtained the Certified Financial PlannerĀ® (CFP) designation.

Christopher Payne

Chris commenced with LDB Group in January 2013. He has over 15 years of experience in investment management. Chris holds graduate and post-graduate qualifications in commerce, finance and investment. He has written courses and lectured on the share market and financial services at Victoria University and other institutions.

Daniel Dubois

Commencing his career in a Big Four accounting firm, Daniel has more than 20 years' experience as a chartered accountant. He has financial expertise across a wide variety of disciplines including accountancy, tax and audit for SMEs and ASX listed entities, and self-managed superannuation fund advisory. Prior to his appointment as Principal in the business services division at LDB, Daniel spent more than 14 years as partner and director in small and mid-tier chartered accounting firms in Melbourne. Playing a key role in solving complex structural issues, Daniel has accumulated complementary skills in corporate governance, due diligence, capital raisings and business valuations. Focusing on client needs, he offers in-depth analysis across business services, accounting, audit and tax. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Accountancy and Economics, from the University of Melbourne, and dual registrations as Chartered Accountant and CPA.

Daniel Griffiths

Growing up in the local area, Daniel joined LDB as a graduate accountant in 2010 after completing a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Economics at La Trobe University. He is also a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, having completed the Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting program. Daniel provides business advisory services to a broad range of businesses including those involved in building and construction, property development, retail, wholesale and medical services.

Deanna Derham

Deanna commenced her accounting career in 1987 when she joined Ernst and Whinney (now Ernst & Young) in the Business Advisory Services Division, specialising in taxation, small business and investment clients. She joined LDB in 1996 and continues to specialise and work closely with investment based clients as well as many small business clients in a variety of industries. Deanna holds a Bachelor Degree in Business and Accounting and is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants.

Erin Boyce

Erin Boyce plays a key role as a Manager at LDB Group, leading and supporting the accounting and tax team. In addition to leading a team, she works closely with small businesses to advise them on best tax outcomes. Day to day, Erin's role involves liaising with clients and building client relationships, while simultaneously delivering services across financial accounts, tax returns, business advice, structuring advice, and any consulting required across the accounting and tax aspects of the business. Her client base is very broad and covers everyone from family groups to game developers and legal firms. She also provides specialist tax advice in a range of areas, and specifically focuses on tax matters in relation to small businesses.

Florence Ioannou

Florence commenced with LDB in July 2017, following an 11 year career in a mid-tier accounting firm and was appointed Associate Partner in July 2022. Florence provides business advisory services to clients in a range of industries including property, co-working spaces, wholesale food services, private family groups, professional services firms including recruitment businesses. Florence is our expert in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency and welcomes the opportunity to work with businesses looking to leverage this technology. She holds Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. LDB Group is pleased to announce the appointment of its first female Associate Partner, Florence Ioannou.

George Psarologos

John Beasley

John is a certified practising accountant (CPA) with more than 10 years' experience in public practice. John began his working life at Cottle and Hickie Accountants in Forest Hill where he worked with clients across a broad range of industries including manufacturing, real estate, construction, farming, legal and medical. John also has experience with audit and self-managed super funds (SMSF). John joined LDB in August 2015 when Cottle and Hickie merged with the company. In July 2021 he was promoted to Associate Partner. After attending Wesley College in Glen Waverley, John studied at Deakin University in Burwood where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in accounting and finance. After finishing his degree, John obtained his CPA qualification. After more than a decade of experience in accounting, LDB Group is pleased to announce the appointment of John Beasley as Associate Partner.

Luke Henry - CEO

Luke commenced with LDB on 13 January 2003 and was appointed as a Partner on 1 July 2011. He assumed the role of Managing Partner in 2019. Luke's experience is in corporate restructure and business services particularly software service & development companies, real estate agencies, wholesale food service and medical practices. His specialities are business services and tax compliance. In addition to a Bachelor of Commerce, Luke holds a Master of Taxation. He is a registered tax agent and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Matthew Keller

Matthew Keller plays a pivotal role as a Manager at LDB Group, supporting the superannuation team to deliver their crucial compliance work. Matthew is responsible for a range of duties including managing a range of self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs) from start-ups to individuals, maintaining the firm's investment reporting systems, and managing and training junior staff. He enjoys the consistency of superannuation, helping clients to better understand how their super funds are performing, and ensuring that funds meet their tax and compliance obligations. Matthew joined LDB in 2011 after moving to Melbourne from Queensland.

Michael Gilmour

Prior to joining LDB in 2023, Michael spent several years assisting large clients in managing tax risks across key areas including acquisitions, expansion, and business divestiture. During this time, he devoted considerable effort to aiding other tax agents who sought his expertise on complex issues, establishing a reputation for adeptly handling more left field challenges. Michael's passion lies in ensuring that clients are not only compliant with tax laws but also strategically positioned to minimise their tax liabilities. This drive sees him working closely with clients to optimise their tax positions and fuel business growth, while also building up their tax decision-making capabilities over time. Michael is dedicated to demystifying tax complexities, empowering clients through knowledge sharing, and explaining LDB's recommendations with clarity. With specialised expertise in navigating employer obligations, Michael also offers strategic advice on the superannuation guarantee and fringe benefits tax (FBT). He adeptly guides clients through compliance challenges and strategies to leverage these obligations for employee benefit optimisation and tax efficiency. Holding a Bachelor of Economics and Commerce, Michael is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. Owen Day, a fully licensed Estate Agent with over 30 years' experience in real estate, offers a wealth of industry knowledge gained as the Manager and Director of several very successful estate agencies. Fully conversant with all facets of the industry, Owen brings outstanding knowledge and experience in residential, commercial, industrial and retail sales and leasings. With his professional background in the management of many varied properties, including large and small Owners Corporations, Owen is focused on meeting our clients' needs, preserving their valuable property investments and assisting them in dealing with the complexities of the real estate market either in buying or selling or undertaking investment or development projects. Owen works closely with the relevant accounting and financial services advisers as part of the LDB team servicing your needs. Rohan Mansfield

Rohan commenced with LDB in July 2018 after spending 17 years working with one of Australia's largest accounting firms in their superannuation division. Rohan provides superannuation accounting and advisory services to self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) trustees. He specialises in giving advice to trustees in relation to contributions, pensions and investments. He does regular public speaking on superannuation topics and has presented for organisations such as CPA Australia, Television Education Network and Legalwise. Rohan holds a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in accounting, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Tim O'Loughlin

Tim O'Loughlin joined our team in April 2015 in the role of Senior Financial Planner and has over 8 years' experience providing financial planning advice and guidance to clients. Tim is a Certified Financial PlannerĀ® and holds a Bachelor of Commerce & Post Graduate Law Degree from Bond University and Diploma of Financial Planning. Tim is the LDB Group's risk (Insurance) specialist. Tim is a relationship-focused and ethics-driven adviser. He enjoys working with aspirational people and helping others to set goals, clarify their options and make great financial decisions. In his spare time, Tim plays tennis with Grace Park Hawthorn Club where he has been Club Secretary since 2010 and enjoys supporting the Melbourne Football Club (go Dees!)
