Anis Yusof

Anis graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Post Graduate in International Relations and Political Science. She had almost 4 years of working experience in the ASEAN business advisory space and dedicated herself in the Malaysia-Australia bilateral relations for a couple of months, prior to joining LeadWomen. Her experiences revolve around government and stakeholder relations in the fields of operations and events management. She is passionate about embracing diversity, empowering women at all levels and networking with inspirational women. She also believes that her values are aligned with LeadWomen's current vision which is to advocate and internalize women's empowerment within societal culture. Trishapreet Kaur is a psychology graduate from the University of Malaya-Wales. While DEI is a slight diversion from her interest in mental health, she believes that DEI is a crucial component in the overarching umbrella of mental health and overall well-being.

Anne Abraham - Chairman, Founder

Anne Abraham was a corporate leader from the technology industry for more than 20 years before she founded LeadWomen Sdn Bhd, an MSC status consultancy company in 2011. She is recognised as a thought leader in diversity and inclusion, both locally and regionally, a frequent speaker, facilitator and moderator in leadership events. She is the co-founder of the Malaysian Chapter of the 30% Club, a global business campaign lobbying for increased women representation on the boards, a board director on 2 Malaysian PLCs and a strong advocate for gender balanced leadership.

Archana Pillai

Chong Min Shih

Chong Min Shih graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Accountacy) Degree with RMIT University. She has Twenty (20) years of professional experience in turning around underperforming companies through strategic implementation.

Liza Liew

Job Titles:
  • Manager, Client Services
Liza Liew is a psychology graduate from the University of Bath. Her interest areas include body image, the psychology of habit, the psychology of sports and high performance as well as social change. She was part of a research team in Bristol Business School looking at how a daily exercise intervention for schoolchildren (Daily Mile) affected social practices around schools, with her focus on body appreciation of schoolchildren. In 2018, the abstract of this research was published as part of the 7th International Society for Physical Activity and Health Congress where the team introduced a novel evaluation methodology, ‘Re-valuation' to the field. Since joining LeadWomen in 2019, her work has been focused on creating inclusive and safe workplaces for all in the working industry. In March 2020, she led the transformation of the Women in Leadership programme onto the virtual space as the world adjusted to the new normal. She is now part of the UN Women WEPs Activator project team and have facilitated a few awareness sessions. She hopes to continue to develop her skills and get the opportunity to apply her trained knowledge into her work. Fun fact: Liza had a career in fencing (epee) where she represented her home state, Sabah and won national and international competitions. She also brews kombucha during her free time. Shuen graduated from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities with a BA in Anthropology and Gender Studies. Passionate about empowering girls and women, she has experience in various organizations focusing on equality and training.
