Azara Engelbrecht

Azara Engelbrecht is a third year law student, assisting Lee Lawyers solicitors in civil dispute, insurance law and estate law matters. Azara is dedicated to her studies at Griffith University. She is passionate about the legal field and helping others achieve justice. Azara received an academic award consecutively from 2021-2022 as a result of her dedication. She is a former assistant manager in a fast food business, leading a team of 17 people per shift, with admininstration including hiring and training new staff, creating rosters, and handling of revenue. Azara is a coordinator at My Community Legal, encompassing many duties including: file noting for solicitors during advice sessions, volunteer roster management, dealing with clients regarding appointments, drafting correspondence and entering new clients into the CLASS practice management system, including for conflict checking.

Carmen Baldwin

Carmen Baldwin is an associate solicitor at Lee Lawyers with a comprehensive background in a diverse range of civil legal matters. Rebecca Bower is a passionate, kind and dedicated law student who loves learning all things law. She is currently studying a Juris Doctor at Bond University whilst a law student clerk at Lee Lawyers and is participating in a number of volunteering activities.

Mary Crabb

Job Titles:

Mary Crabb is a solicitor, specialising in civil dispute resolution and litigation. She is admitted as an officer of the Supreme Court of Queensland and a practitioner of the High Court of Australia. Mary has an extensive educational background (an Applied Science Degree, a Master's Degree in Ethics & Legal Studies, a Juris Doctor with Distinction and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice). She is the recipient of the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence for both years of enrolment in the Juris Doctor program at Griffith University. Whilst doing PLT coursework, Mary undertook a Law Internship with Everyday Justice, an arm of Mills Oakley to provide assistance to clients on a pro bono basis. Their goal is to help eliminate barriers to access to justice for the ‘missing middle' - those whom don't qualify for legal aid, yet cannot afford private representation. This is a large proportion of the community and an extremely worthwhile initiative. Mary also continues to do pro bono work as a volunteer at My Community Legal.

Rebecca Bower

Rebecca's underlying passion for learning the law is to help others.

Ross Lee

Ross Lee values influential, ethical legal practice, keeping in touch with clients, cost efficiencies and results. He has a policy to not advertise - reputation is Lee Lawyers' currency. An effective litigation advocate and nationally-accredited mediator, Ross resolves client disputes in commercial, building, property, body corporate, insolvency, estate and other civil matters. Legal risk management is a special interest. Ross has a strong practice in general insurance, life insurance and compensation claims. He is one of few lawyers accredited as an ANZIIF Certified Insurance Professional (CIP). In the 1990s, Ross worked as a claims officer, underwriter and loss adjuster. Ross is a Notary Public, appointed by the London Court of Faculties. He is a Gold Coast Law Association past president and a QLS Senior Counsellor commissioned in 2013. Ross' family is long known for community service. He is founding president of My Community Legal and governing director of the Mudgeeraba Foundation.

Tracy Lee

Tracy Lee is a former pharmacist-in-charge and current qualified accountant. She is the practice manager of Lee Lawyers. Tracy holds degrees from the University of Queensland in Science and Pharmacy and also from the Queensland University of Technology. Tracy was born and raised locally. Her well-known Kretschmar (or "Krets") family heritage stretches back several generations in the City of Gold Coast. She is the CEO of the Mudgeeraba Foundation which operates the Mudgeeraba Foundation Centre.
