A self-described ‘enthusiast', Jeremy O'Rourke has grown a career out of high energy, big dreams, a strong work ethic, and the utmost belief that the key to great leadership is creating more leaders around you.
After completing a Bachelor of Management Studies and graduating with Honours (BMS Hons) at the University of Waikato, Jeremy went on to spend 7 years with Reebok as a Marketing Manager. Looking for a new challenge, in 1997 he channelled his natural ability for sales into the real estate industry.
Jeremy's aptitude for the business soon stacked up successes, beginning with his recognition as 1998/1999 REINZ Most Promising Salesperson for Waikato, BOP and Gisborne regions. In 2000 he was made Branch Manager of the Dinsdale office, lifting sales an impressive 300% over 18 months.
In 2005 Jeremy became a Director of the Lodge group, and by 2008 he was in the Managing Director's chair. His influence on company performance and sales is evident, with Lodge performing well each year in the REINZ Waikato/BOP Awards, most recently recognising Lodge agents with 50% of the top Residential Salesperson awards and the top three Property Management awards.
An accomplished speaker, Jeremy has been invited as a guest lecturer at both Auckland and Waikato Universities to present marketing topics. More recently he has spoken at a number of real estate conferences on the subjects of management and sales, including AREC (Australian Real Estate Conference), Australasia's largest real estate conference.

Jordan Slight has several years' experience in property management - reassuring to both tenants and investors as they seek an arrangement that is hassle-free, mutually beneficial, and reliable.
"In my time the one factor that's consistent is a need for investors and tenants alike to be treated with respect," Jordan says.
"They might be coming from different angles, and their needs may be different, but listening to what all people have to say and responding in a reasonable way is all most people ask for," Jordan says.
Jordan has been a renter and a home-owner, and uses her personal experiences to empathise with her investment clients and renters.
Most property management issues are minor, Jordan says, so they can be mitigated or nullified early-on if clear communication between parties is given priority, and stakeholders feel their property manager is being responsive.
With a background in hospitality, Jordan is skilled in dealing with people no matter their background, culture, or demographic profile. She has an easy manner that is relatable to most, and acts with a cool and calm demeanour when the pressure comes on.

Keith officially joined Lodge City Rentals back in 2009 when Lodge purchased the property management company Keith was a shareholder in at the time.
"The companies' amalgamation brought me over to Lodge, where I'm pleased to have been ever since. It has been a great 12 years working alongside Lodge's wonderful staff and clients," Keith says.

Kim Greene is a personable and highly focused property manager, backing up her empathetic approach to property management with a wealth of industry experience.
After more than 15 years working at Lodge City Rentals, Kim has mastered the balancing act that comes with property management. "I believe the difference between good work and great work is attention to detail. Whether I'm dealing with tenants or landlords, it's the details that make all the difference."
Kim's detail-oriented nature extends to her time management skills, assuring ample time for quality support for both tenants and landlords. "I'm highly focused on being organised and effectively managing time, allowing flexibility when unexpected issues arise. Every day is different in property management; when roadblocks appear, my job is to find a solution."
When it comes to helping others, Kim believes that having the empathy to step into another person's shoes is imperative. People are at the core of Kim's passion for property management, and she loves providing hassle-free support and guidance to those looking to find their perfect home.

Renee Beard joined the property management industry in 2019, after a move from Auckland to be with family in the quaint Waikato town of Cambridge.
A short two years later she now manages an impressive portfolio of 160+ properties. Of particular note is the trust she has built amongst those in her town, with all but six of her portfolio properties located in Cambridge.
"It's a pleasure working with people local to where I live. My clients here - many of whom are referred by someone else in the Cambridge community - also seem to like that there's someone local looking after their properties," she says.
Renee brings unique experience to her role. Before coming to Lodge she worked with GirlGuiding New Zealand for 15 years; initially signing-up new leaders and later working for the property side of the organisation.
"As Property Coordinator I looked after GirlGuiding New Zealand's buildings across two thirds of the North Island. The role was comprehensive and included dealing with commercial ownership, renting and all things in between," she says.
With her GirlGuiding NZ background, it comes as no surprise that the opportunity to help people is what drew Renee to property management.
"Being a Property Management Consultant is a bit like match-making, but with people to a home. I work to understand what both sides - the owner and tenant - want, and ensure that they're both satisfied with the result," she says.
She says that, for her, there's a particular fulfilment that comes with being the "eyes and ears" for owners who require extra support; whether that be elderly clients or others with a unique set of needs.
"I have one client in Australia whose husband passed away suddenly. She was left with his portfolio and had to learn all about it. After supporting her through the process, she sent a beautiful email and bunch of flowers to say thank you," she says.
Being naturally thorough and organised are traits that help Renee execute her job with excellence. "In this job it's important to cross all your t's and dot all your i's. I also make sure to spend that extra 10 minutes in conversation with someone to hear their story. This goes a long way; especially in a small community like Cambridge."
When it comes down to it, Renee's approach to her work is simple. "I manage the properties in my portfolio as if they were my own, or that of a family member. I think about what I'd want to know as an owner or a tenant and go from there," she says.
Her clients are quick to validate that this is true of her. As one recently said, "Renee is very dedicated to her job, has passion, is professional and gives you great confidence and assurance in her capabilities to look after our home, as if it were her own."

People have always been the focus for Roseanne Udy, who left her career in Hazardous Substances and Health & Safety three years ago to become a property management consultant with Lodge City Rentals.
"I've had a diverse career which included certification for hazardous substances, office management, laboratory testing in the food industry and worked as a qualified tester of drugs and alcohol. Building great relationships has always been my motivation," she says.
"Unsurprisingly it was the people-focussed nature of property management that drew me to this role and my great interest in the property industry, so three years ago I took the plunge and I've never looked back," she said.
Roseanne, who is now fully qualified with her Level 4 certificate in Property Management, says that being "people-focussed" in her current role is about seeking the best outcome for both owners and tenants.

Property manager Vanessa Day knows what it takes to reach the top, whether she's taking part in gruelling 24-hour adventure races or being recognised in Lodge's Annual Awards as one of the top three property managers at the company for the 2021/2022 year.
Before joining Lodge Rentals as a property manager in 2018, Vanessa excelled in administrative roles across a range of industries, including property. When looking for a change, she was keen to take up a role that would allow her to get out and about and meet new people. Having undertaken property management administration work, she knew the ins and outs of the property manager role, and an interview with general manager Jason Waugh sealed the deal. With her strong background in administration, Vanessa's co-ordination expertise helps her carry out tasks in an efficient and effective manner. "I will respond to emails every day. I don't leave anything unanswered if I can help it; communication is very important to me."
