David A. Abramson

David Abramson is a member of Lewis, Kullman Sterbcow & Abramson, LLC. He obtained a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from Louisiana State University School of Law. David's primary practice areas include medical malpractice, hospital and nursing home malpractice, maritime and admiralty law and civil litigation. He is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts. David is a past Chair of the Admiralty Law Section of the American Association for Justice and serves on its executive committee. He is a past Chair of the Medical Malpractice Section of the Louisiana Association for Justice and is currently serving again in that capacity. He received the Louisiana Association for Justice President's Award for outstanding and highly dedicated service to the legal profession and the Association in 2008. David currently also serves on the Lawyer Disciplinary Committee for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. He is a member of AAJ, LAJ, NOBA, ABA and FBA.

Harvey J. Lewis is a founding partner of Lewis, Kullman, Sterbcow & Abramson, LLC and currently serves as "of counsel" to the firm. Harvey obtained a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and a J.D. from Tulane University Law School. His primary practice areas are maritime and admiralty law. Harvey is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts, along with the United States Supreme Court. He has served on numerous committees for the Louisiana State Bar Association, including the Committee on Professional Responsibility and Committee on Rules of Professional and Judicial Conduct. He is also a Fellow of the American Collee of Trial Lawyers and a Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Ian F. Taylor

Ian Taylor is a member of Lewis, Kullman Sterbcow & Abramson, LLC. He obtained a B.A. from Middlebury College and a J.D. from Tulane University Law School. While at Tulane, Ian served as the Senior Managing Editor of the Tulane Maritime Law Journal. Ian won numerous awards at Tulane, including the 2010 Admiralty Law Institute Award of Excellence and the Robert B. Acomb Award. Ian is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts. His primary practice areas include admiralty and maritime law, products liability, and civil litigation. Ian worked extensively on the multi-district litigation arising from the 2010 BP oil spill and helped secure millions of dollars in recovery for a wide array of clients. Ian frequently presents at legal seminars and conferences throughout the country and has authored amicus curiae briefs in both the Louisiana Supreme Court and United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on important maritime issues. He was named as a Super Lawyer for 2022 and as a Rising Star for Transportation/Maritime Law in 2020. He is a past Chair of the American Association for Justice Admiralty Law Section and past Chair of the Louisiana Association for Justice Maritime Section. Ian also served as President of the Academy of New Orleans Trial Lawyers for the 2020-2021 term. He recently was appointed to the Executive Committee by the federal district court judge overseeing the litigation arising out of the April 13, 2021 disaster involving the Seacor Power.

Jessica L. Ibert

Jessica Ibert is a member of Lewis, Kullman Sterbcow & Abramson, LLC. She obtained a B.A. from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from Loyola University College of Law. While in law school, Jessica served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Elizabeth W. Magner in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and as an intern with Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal Judge Fredericka H. Wicker. Jessica is licensed to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts. Her primary practice areas include admiralty and maritime law, aviation, medical malpractice, products liability and civil litigation. Upon graduating from law school, Jessica worked extensively on the multi-district litigation arising from the 2010 BP oil spill and helped secure millions of dollars in recovery for hundreds of clients. Today she represents businesses and individual clients in a wide array of matters. Jessica frequently presents at legal seminars and is an active member in many legal and civic organizations. She is currently serving as Chair of the American Association for Justice Admiralty Section and as a Vice Chair for the American Bar Association TIPS Admiralty and Maritime Law Committee. In 2017, Jessica was appointed by Louisiana Governor John Bel Edwards as a Commissioner to the Louisiana Animal Welfare Commission and was inducted as a Fellow of the Loyola University Institute of Politics in 2019.

Larry has served on the Medical-Legal Interprofessional Committee of the Louisiana State Bar Association, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association, and he has chaired the Amicus Curiae Committee of the Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association. He was also admitted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers in 1999.
