Allie is a Professional Engineer registered in Ontario, Alberta and Quebec, and has a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from McGill University and a Master's in Fire Protection Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Chuang worked as a project/mechanical engineer for approximately 10 years before joining LMDG in 2023 as an intermediate code consultant. He also completed a master's degree at McMaster University.

Eric joined the firm in 2000 and became a Principal in 2016. He is an Architectural Technologist with extensive experience in Building Code review and inspections.

Erik is a Registered Architect and holds a BSc. and Masters of Architecture from McGill University. Before joining LMDG, he spent more than 12 years working on local projects. code consulting, and sustainability.
Esther has 20 years of administrative experience in the building code and fire safety consulting field. Esther assists LMDG staff with proposal preparation and document review.

Alan stepped down as a Principal and transitioned into his role as Senior Advisor in October 2023. With his extensive experience in design/construction, building code review and building permit administration, he continues to provide services to our clients and projects in his new role.
Erin joined the firm in 2006 and became a Principal in 2019. She is a Professional Engineer registered in Ontario and Manitoba, with a B.Eng. in Civil Engineering from McMaster University.

Evan completed 3 work terms with LMDG as a co-op student. Evan has his Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia.
Frances holds degrees in English, Psychology and Archival Studies. She is the Document Specialist Subject Matter Expert responsible for the formatting, editing, archiving, and maintenance of all document processing functions.
Mike joined the firm in 1994 and became a Principal in 2016. He is a Professional Engineer registered in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, and Saskatchewan, with a B.A.Sc. in Civil Engineering from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Certified Professional.
Erika has her Associate Certificate in Computerized Accounting from BCIT and she assists the Controller and Operations Manager with invoicing.

James joined the firm in 2003, became a Principal in 2011 and currently leads our Toronto office. He is an honous graduate of the Fire Protection Engineering Technology program at Seneca College.

Kieran joined the firm in 2021, became a Principal in 2023 and currently leads our Calgary office. He has acquired 16 years of experience in Fire Engineering / Life Safety Consulting, coupled with a MSc in Fire & Explosive Engineering.
Juan Pablo is a Mechatronic Engineer with a Master's in Engineering on Mechatronic Product Realization from Simon Fraser University. He has previous experience as an EIT Fire Protection Engineering and Building Code Consultant.

Dave joined the firm in 2004, and became a Principal in 2011. He is a Professional Engineer registered in BC, AB, MB, ON and NS, and is a Certified Professional (CP). Dave is the current Chair of the CP Advisory Committee of Vancouver and leads the LMDG Fire Modelling group.

Kimara is an iLEAD coach with HR Management certification from Simon Fraser University. She drives the implementation, changes, and governance of the organization's Human Resources and Operational strategic plans.
Lia has a B.A. from McGill University. She joins LMDG with 5 years of professional experience including 3 years of experience coordinating proposals and projects in the environmental consulting sector.
Megan works with all stakeholders to manage internal and external marketing and communication plans, including implementing, governing, and revising them across all platforms.

Mikaela has a B.B.A from the University of Prince Edward Island. She works with all internal stakeholders to oversee and improve systems and processes from a QMS perspective.
Theresa has a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University. She is responsible for preparing firm's Requests for Proposals and other Administrative duties for the Toronto team.
Raluca joined the firm in 2015, and became a Principal in 2022. She has obtained a B.Comm. (Accounting) from Ryerson University and has more than 10 years of experience in accounting.
Ryan joined the firm in 2001 and became a Principal in 2016. He performs drawing and field reviews and varied project work, including the preparation of building code alternative solutions.
Shawn joined the firm in 2005 and became a Principal in 2016. He is a graduate of the Building Technology Program at BCIT and a registered Applied Science Technologist with the ASTTBC.
