His leadership in aviation training, safety and security, a visionary approach, coupled with a breadth and depth of understanding of the regional airline industry and marketplace have caused him to be in demand as a speaker, and his resourcefulness has resulted in industry initiatives and new standards. He is a rated Instructor, Airline Transport Pilot on jet and regional turboprop airplanes, certificated Aircraft Dispatcher, and HazMat Specialist/Instructor.

Dr. Alessandro Mazzoni

Dr. Alessandro Mazzoni brings 50+ years aero design/engineering expertise. His engineering experience includes working for the Piper Aircraft Company. As Director of Engineering for I.A.M. Rinaldo Piaggio from 1974 to 1991, he designed the P.180 Avanti, and is the US Patent holder (4746081) for the Three Lifting Surface Configuration (3LSC) aircraft. Dr. Mazzoni, a long-time member of American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, thru his Etruria Technology continues to consult on the engineering of 3LSC designs. The resulting family of aircraft includes the Etruria Vagabond, a single engine, 4-5 seat touring aircraft, a very high performance centerline thrust twin propjet, a small jet with unique propulsion architecture, and a family of 3LSC UAVs.
