H. Mark Saunders

Dr. Saunders graduated Cum Laude from the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, in 1981. After two years as a large-animal practitioner in Quakertown, PA, he entered the radiology residency program at the University of Pennsylvania. He became a diplomate in the American College of Veterinary Radiology in 1986. In 1994, he earned his Masters of Science in the Biomedical Studies Group at Penn, studying hemodynamics and Doppler pulsatility. Dr. Saunders was a faculty member at Penn for 18 years as a lecturer, assistant, and associate professor. For the last eight years at Penn, he was the chief of the Section of Radiology. He is the past president of the Veterinary Ultrasound Society and the American College of Veterinary Radiology. Prior to veterinary school, he graduated from the Pennsylvania State University. In 2003, he left the University of Pennsylvania and moved to Shelburne, Vermont, where he and Dr. Walker started Lynks Group. Dr. Saunders is also a partner in Shadowsmiths, a national veterinary teleradiology company.

Lynn Walker

Dr. Walker received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1987 and pursued her radiology residency at Penn as well. She was employed as a Staff Radiologist from 1992 to 2003, helping to train veterinary students, interns and radiology residents while providing clinical service in Radiology. She has a long-standing interest in zoo medicine and, while at Penn, built a strong alliance with the Philadelphia Zoo, handling its ultrasound exams and film interpretations. She has been a co-author on multiple peer-reviewed journals during her time at Penn. She grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and moved to Vermont in 2003 when she and Dr. Saunders formed Lynks Group.
