Dr. Karen Smith

Dr. Karen Smith joined Macedon Veterinary Care in 2023. Dr. Smith, a graduate of Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine practiced locally for many years before joining our team. She brings many years of experience and skills to our practice and we are thrilled to have her! Dr. Smith shares her home with her two German Shepard Dogs. In her free time she enjoys gardening, hiking and spending time with friends.

Dr. Kristen Frost

Dr. Frost grew up in Massena, NY, and attended University at Buffalo for her undergraduate studies. She is a 2010 graduate of the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating from vet school, Dr. Frost started working in a small and exotic animal practice in southeastern Virginia. She has treated and operated on a variety of exotic pets including rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, chinchillas, ferrets, pot-bellied pigs, rats, birds, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, and, of course, dogs and cats! Dr. Frost relocated back to New York to be closer to family and friends in the spring of 2016 and started with Macedon Veterinary Care in June 2016. Dr. Frost currently resides in Honeoye Falls with her husband, three young daughters, dog named Hazel, and three cats.

Dr. Maureen Zagursky

Dr. Zagursky completed her undergraduate work at St. Lawrence University and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in May, 2010. Dr. Zagursky is originally from Victor, NY, and wanted to remain in the area after graduation. She started working for Macedon Veterinary Care in July 2010. She shares her desk with the clinic cats but unfortunately they refuse to help with her paperwork. Dr. Zagursky is a member of the AVMA, AAHA, AAFP, and NYSVMS. Dr. Zagursky is owned by her three cats, Sugar, Calypso and Goose. In her spare time she enjoys watching movies, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr. Robin Lovelock

Dr. Robin Lovelock joined our team September 2017. Dr. Lovelock has practiced locally for nearly 30 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Macedon Veterinary Care. Dr. Lovelock is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at Medaille College teaching veterinary technician students.

Dr. Sarah Reynolds

Dr Reynolds did her undergraduate studies at Nazereth College and graduated with her veterinary medical degree from Ross University. She spent her clinical year at Perdue University. Dr. Reynolds practiced locally for 5 years before joining Macedon Veterinary Care in 2019. She shares her home in Newark with her husband , her dogs and her cats. In her free time she and her husband enjoy camping, hiking and kayaking, and their dogs love to tag along!

Rebecca Hall

Rebecca Hall, Hospital Manager - Rebecca started with Macedon Veterinary Care in July 2014. Rebecca and her family currently reside in Fairport with her three cats Shadow, Sydney and Sasha. They also have a very spoiled rescue dog named Stuart. In her free time Rebecca enjoys spending time with friends and family, gardening, cooking and being outdoors! Rebecca and her family also enjoy camping and spending time in the finger lakes region as well as all the village of Fairport has to offer.
