Greg received his degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin. Greg has more than 30 years of audit and accounting experience, both in public accounting and private industry. Greg was also an Audit Manager with the Madison, Wisconsin, and Denver, Colorado offices of Grant Thornton, a national public accounting firm, and a member of that firm's quality assurance department for five years. As well as holding the CPA designation, Greg is a Certified Cash Manager, a designation obtained by individuals employed in the Treasury Management area of larger banks. Greg Viergutz is also a peer reviewer for the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Utah Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Greg is a member of the Peer Review Committee, Report Acceptance Board for the New Mexico Society of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Greg is also the former Treasurer of the Cherry Creek School District Legislative Network Committee, Past-President and Treasurer of the Dry Creek Elementary PTCO.
