Henry Kopf III, attorney, entrepreneur, and inventor on four U.S. patents and corresponding international patents on the processing of biological fluids, improved infant formula, and optimization of filtration processes.
Henry concentrates his practice in the areas of corporate counsel services, business law, technology risk assessments, securities law, and international business transactions. He holds both a B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, and earned his J.D., cum laude, from Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, NC.
Henry was an Associate at a Raleigh-based firm focusing in complex business litigation matters, prior to founding his own corporate law firm in August 2014. While Henry continues to maintain a separate corporate firm, he also serves as "Of Counsel" to Mainsail Lawyers bolstering our firm's growing corporate law practice and expanding the range of business litigation, employment law, and other legal services that he may offer to his own firm's clients through his relationship with Mainsail Lawyers.
Before embarking on his legal career, Henry co-founded businesses focused on development and commercialization of technology used for the filtration, purification and separations of liquids for biotechnology and pharmaceutical applications. This includes his work at NCSRT, Inc., where he served as both CEO and CBO. Prior to NCSRT, he served as Filter Modules Director at PTI Advanced Filtration, Inc., Oxnard, CA (a subsidiary of ESCO).
Henry is a sought-after public speaker and instructor for seminars such as the Early Stage Legal Series he led for NC COIN in 2013, 2014, and 2015.
