Dave has a wealth of experience and a gift for problem solving, developed over a career spent leading teams of fitters and mechanics.
- Professor of Radiology
Dr Ho is experienced and active in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic sports medicine imaging and research, particularly in musculoskeletal Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He has been a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Skeletal Radiology, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the ACL Study Group, among other professional organizations. He has published numerous papers and book chapters in the radiologic and orthopaedic literature and presented numerous papers internationally in radiologic and orthopaedic conference proceedings.
Dr Ho is Professor of Radiology, University of Colorado School of Medicine, in Aurora, Colorado. He is Director of Imaging Research and a member of the Research Advisory Committee of the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado. He has served as Radiologic Consultant for the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Cleveland Indians, U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Decathlon Team, Denver Broncos, Colorado Rockies, and Denver Nuggets.
Dr Ho received his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from MIT, PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and MD from Stanford University School of Medicine.

Dr Dubois is a Director of ASX listed Sonic Healthcare Ltd. He is a neuro-radiologist and nuclear imaging specialist having spent ten years in academic radiology in the United States. He is the author of over fifty scientific publications and has been an invited speaker at many national and international conferences in the field of diagnostic radiology.
Dr Dubois is currently an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Queensland Medical School. He has represented his profession on numerous government and craft group committees.
Dr Riyu Wei has been a key member of the Magnetica team for over 10 years. Riyu holds a PhD. in Computational Mechanics with a particular expertise in mechanical engineering, structural analysis, design and advanced computational modelling.
Duncan is an experienced executive, having successfully fulfilled a range of commercial and technical roles in high-tech companies, operating within medtech, energy, mining, defence and communications industries.

Ewald Weber is a specialist in the development of medical imaging equipment, systems, and manufacturing of RF coils. Ewald has designed a large variety of multi-functional pre-clinical and MRI coils.
Fangfang is responsible for gradient coil design and simulations. She holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.

Professor Feng Liu is a specialist in MRI superconductor magnet design. Feng's expertise lies in medical imaging, MRI hardware design, electromagnetic analysis and cardiac electrical function imaging. He holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering.

Mr Stack is a leading professional corporate director with significant experience in high growth corporations. He has previously served as Chairman of Australian National Industries, Data #3 Limited, Southern Cross Pumps and Irrigation, Voxson Limited, and Eastern Corporation Limited, and as a director of Waratah Coal Inc. and Flight Centre Limited. He has served as both Chairman and Deputy Chairman of ASX listed Redflow Limited.
Mr Stack had a long and highly successful career as a partner in the Brisbane based commercial law firm Feez Ruthning from 1969, and was its Managing Partner from 1992 until its merger with Allen Allen and Hemsley in 1996. He retired from Allens in 2001.
In the community he has been Chairman of Brisbane Grammar School Board of Trustees from 1991 to 2019, and served as a Director of Queensland Events Corporation from 1996 to 1998.
Ivan Hughes is an RF coil engineer and is experienced in the design and development of MRI RF coils with multi-channel or multi nuclei at various field strengths as high as 21T.

Mr Schaffer joined the Magnetica board in 2016 as an alternate to Mr Justin Schaffer.
Having qualified as a Chemical Engineer, Mr Schaffer worked for four years in South Africa's nuclear industry in the Uranium Enrichment Corporation facility near Pretoria. Thereafter he joined a boutique agency business importing chemicals and plastics before emigrating to the UK in 1985. After working with an international trading company specialising in barter and counter trade operations, he started his own trading business in 1988. The company later specialised in the toy industry, created its own brand and changed its name to Plum Products Ltd.
Mr Schaffer migrated with his family to Australia in 2009 and established Plum Products Australia Pty Ltd as a sister company to the UK company, and later Plum Products Hong Kong Ltd. Today, Mr Schaffer is Chairman of the same business. The group has sales under its Plum brand of activity toys in excess of US$20M in more than 40 countries, employing about 50 full time staff in four countries.
Mr Schaffer has a depth of business experience internationally, as a Chairman, Executive Director and CEO of numerous large organisations. He is familiar with technology start-ups and has founded and run several successful high-tech companies. He is a Non-Executive Director for a number of high-tech start up companies in South East Queensland. Early in his career, as a shareholder and CEO of Duropenta Plastics, he built the company to become the largest plastics manufacturer in South Africa. As CEO when this business was sold to AECI Ltd, he set up a Joint Venture with French and Israeli partners to establish a Drip Irrigation business in Spain and U.S.A.
As CEO of South African Nylon Spinners Ltd. Mr Schaffer grew the company to become the largest producer of nylon and polyester yarns, fibres and PET polymer in the southern hemisphere and one of the most profitable synthetic fibre businesses in the world. Later in his career Mr Schaffer ran, re-structured and restored profitability to the Frame Group. In 1993 he and four partners started Tracker Network Ltd, a stolen vehicle recovery business using technology from LoJack Corp., USA. The company now has sales revenues exceeding A$500million p.a. He and his partners continue to serve as non-executive directors.
A chartered Accountant with a Bachelor of Business. Karen specialises in providing CFO services to growth and emerging corporates.
- CAD Engineer & CAM Programmer
Karl brings his experience gained in Medical R&D Mechanical Design and manufacturing processes from many sectors of industry and has a passion for design. He's responsible for CAD modelling, CAM programming and application thereof.
With dual Masters in Electrical Engineering & Marketing and able to speak four languages, Kevin is responsible for company wide ICT and sourcing for R&D and production activities.

Kim is an experienced Quality and Regulatory Affairs professional and leads Magnetica's activities in this discipline.
Mohammad is experienced in the design and development of new products and systems across different industries. He is responsible for the analysis, assessment, and development of design solutions across our products to comply with specifications.
Dr Mingyan Li is an experienced MRI RF coil developer from 1T to 9.4T. Mingyan's expertise lies in MRI RF coil design, simulation and evaluation, MRI sequence optimisation, ultra-high field MRI development, fast imaging and non-Cartesian MRI development. He holds a PhD in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering.

Mr Aird became Magnetica CEO in July 2013, and was appointed as a Director in May 2015. He held the position of Managing Director until 29 October 2017. He continues with Magnetica as a non-executive director.
Mr Aird is a professional operations manager with over twenty years' experience in commercial development and operations. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Redflow Limited. Prior to joining Magnetica, he spent five years as executive operations manager at Redflow, working with the product development, prototype deployment and commercialisation of technology within the electrochemical and plastics industry. This included demonstration projects, establishment of pilot manufacturing, quality systems, and scoping of outsourced manufacturing opportunities both offshore and in Australia.

Sara is a Manufacturing Engineer and experienced project and program manager with technical knowledge spanning many fields. She holds a PhD in Manufacturing Engineering.
Mr Denaro has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, accountancy services, and income tax compliance gained from positions as Company Secretary, Chief Financial Officer and Non-Executive Director of various public companies, and with major chartered accountancy firms in Australia and the United Kingdom. He provides Company Secretarial services for a number of start-up technology companies.
Mr Denaro has a Bachelor of Business in Accountancy, Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Steve has worked across a number of industries, providing him with a broad range of skills that he uses to enhance our production activities.
Experienced in product development, instrumentation, test and measurement, and modelling, Steve investigates the thermal performance of gradient coils and its manufacturing documentation.

Founding inventor of Magnetica's key technologies, Professor Stuart Crozier is also the Director of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Queensland.
- Non - Executive Alternate Director
Mr Stack joined the Magnetica board in 2020 as an alternate to Mr Howard Stack.
Mr Stack is an experienced corporate lawyer specialising in public and private acquisitions, disposals and joint ventures. He has practiced law in Melbourne at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst), in London at Linklaters and in Sydney and Brisbane at the US firm Jones Day.
Mr Stack has strong experience advising on cross-border transactions, having advised companies on corporate transactions in the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, South Africa and Australia. He can also advise companies and boards on their corporate governance and disclosure obligations (both in Australia and in the United Kingdom).
