Lisa joined Marc-Allen Associates, Inc. in 2012 and is the Managing Director of the Chicago office.
Prior to joining Marc-Allen Associates, Lisa spent many years in multi-unit, field operations as a District Manager for Crabtree & Evelyn, Hallmark Cards and Factory Card & Party Outlet.
Mike founded Marc-Allen Associates, Inc. in 1997 after a successful Retail executive career. From the beginning, Mike's commitment was to focus 100% on the Retail industry and to translate his experience, passion for retail and a knack for identifying top talent to the executive search business.
Prior to founding Marc-Allen Associates, Inc., Mike spent more than 18 years in management positions with 3 leading retail chains. From 1993 to 1996, Mike served as SVP of Stores with Factory Card and Party Outlet (Chicago HQ) where he managed the operations of 200 greeting card and party supply stores. Mike was a key company executive during the chain's IPO and public offering. Before that, Mike had a long history of success with Montgomery Ward, where he built a solid career for over 14 years. Positions there included Director of Human Resources, Director of Customer Service, Regional and District Manager positions and the VP/Managing Director of a $700M dollar territory. Mike also spent 2 years as Store Manager with Target earlier in his career.
Mike has served on the Board of Directors of the Maryland Retail Merchants Association and is a past member of the National Retail Federation. He was also selected as a member of the National Personnel Associates Quality Circle of Excellence, reflecting his outstanding dedication to candidate quality and client results. This select award is given out to only the top 1% of recruiters within NPA's 400-plus worldwide member firms.
Mike holds a BS degree in Marketing from West Virginia University.
