MANUELA MCSHANE

I am a licensed mental health counselor (Massachusetts #5836) in private practice in Belmont, Massachusetts. I work with adults experiencing difficulties with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma and relationship/interpersonal issues. My areas of expertise include working with individuals, couples and families. My style is eclectic with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, while integrating strategies from various approaches to tailor treatment to each client's individual needs. I use a combination of approaches including Solution Focused, Insight Oriented and Psycho-education. I believe having clients feel heard and understood is essential in building a strong therapeutic alliance.
