MANOR GRILLE - Key Persons

Derek Gutkowski grew up in the Southside of Pittsburgh and served four years on the U.S. Navy Submarine USS Pasadena. After attending the Pennsylvania Culinary Institute, he earned his executive chef status and went on to cook at and manage various operations at Grandview Golf Club in North Braddock, Pa. where he met his wife, Megan. After nearly 10 years at Grandview, Derek and Megan struck out on their own, purchasing the building that would become Manor Bar & Grille. Derek still manages Manor Grille by coordinating menu specials, cooking and operating catering services.

Megan Kreiling Gutkowski grew up in North Braddock, Pa. and earned her associate's at the Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC) before attaining her bachelor's degree in Communications at Point Park University. Megan believes in the spirit of community and has been an active member of Penn Township throughout her residency. Some of her past experience in local government includes formerly serving as a member of Manor Borough's council, the Manor Civil Service Commission and acting as treasurer for Manor Recreation Board. She is currently a member of Penn Township Ambulance Board and still manages and promotes the restaurant. You will often see Megan, Derek and their three children helping out every Saturday for their weekly fundraiser, the Penn Township Fundraiser.
