Beth Aldana

Beth has over 17 years of experience in manufacturing and engineering leadership roles in medical device, automotive and industrial product industries. Beth's career has concentrated on helping organizations achieve Operational Excellence through systemic process improvements with an emphasis on creating collaborative team environments and developing the capabilities of the team members. Beth has worked for several small/mid-size manufacturers in southeastern Wisconsin, including MRPC, Vesta (Lubrizol) and Techniplas.

Brigid Walsh

Brigid came to accounting via a circuitous route, attending Beloit College for psychology & statistics and then spending several years in leadership at a youth development organization. She realized she had a passion for non-profit finance, and is currently working on credentials for her CMA. Brigid is an aerial artist at the Madison Circus Space. When she's on the ground, she enjoys dancing and hiking with her husband and dog, and has recently taken up knitting.

Carol Crawford

Carol brings a diverse management background including experience in Operations and Supply Chain Management, Lean Six Sigma, Quality Systems, New Product Development, and Multi-site Project Management in manufacturing and software environments. Carol has worked for several large companies, including Brady Corp., a subsidiary of Rockwell Automation, 3M, and, prior to her arrival at the WMEP, Microchip Technology. Carol also managed a small touchscreen electronics manufacturer and experienced firsthand some of the unique challenges and opportunities, including championing the sale to a strategic buyer in the semiconductor industry.

Christa Kananen

Colin Wilson

Colin's experience in automation spans over 14 years. His roles have included component selection/sizing, field service, applications development for custom equipment, and technical system sales for a component manufacturer. Colin has worked with small manufacturers just starting down the automation path, through multinational corporations optimizing their value stream.

Cory Larson

Cory's career spans over 10 years in automation engineering and manufacturing. Cory has designed custom automation for original equipment manufacturers and in-house use. His design experience includes robot integration, electrical construction, mechanical design, networking, and programming. In his most recent role, as an Automation Leader, he was responsible for getting machines from concept to implementation while working with multi-disciplinary groups.

Craig Fey

Craig Fey's role with WMEP will be to contribute to the development of manufacturing partners in the Madison and Milwaukee regions. Craig's career has been defined by the ability to work successfully within a team atmosphere. He has been able to achieve this through building and maintaining close relationships with both customers and colleagues. His passion is to provide the highest quality products and information guiding his customers to make the best decisions for their individual and business needs. Formerly Craig served as the Operation Manager for Burman Coffee Traders in Middleton, Wisconsin. With over ten plus years in the operations role, his focus included overseeing and motivating the fulfillment team, maintaining customer relationships, and tracking and reporting inventory assets. Craig's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in Geography with an emphasis on Urban Development and a minor in Business Law from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He served as the president of the Geography department's chapter of Gamma Theta Epsilon. He also completed the University of Wisconsin Small Business Launch into Leadership program. Craig resides in Verona, Wisconsin with his wife Bobbi and two sons. He has coached his son's youth hockey teams since 2013 and has served on the Verona Wildcats Youth Hockey Association board of directors since 2018. In his free time Craig enjoys cooking including grilling, golfing, and reading.

David York

Gina has a strong background in event and meeting planning and marketing having served as Director of Marketing and Event and Meeting Planning at Independent Pharmacy Cooperative and as Corporate Travel Coordinator for QBE North America. She has done consulting and volunteer work in such areas as meeting planning, vendor relations, procurement, marketing, fundraising, promotion and volunteer coordination with several non-profit organizations.

Jessy Servi Ortiz

Jessy has been in working in sustainability for over a decade. Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs, business was the dialect and became the path to leveraging change. With a diverse background in design and project management, business and systems thinking, as well as regenerative agriculture she earned her MBA in 2013 with a focus on sustainable business management. In 2012 she began as sustainability manager at Outpost Natural Foods in Milwaukee where she designed and managed their sustainability strategy, employee and stakeholder engagement, sustainability communication and collaborated across departments to develop, track and oversee sustainability KPIs for distribution, sourcing, energy, climate change, water, waste management, packaging, labor, animal care, consumer education, governance and community. At Outpost, she was a part of the strategic team and helped facilitate ongoing business planning. Now, as the Managing Director of the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council (WSBC), she is the key orchestrator of WSBC's programs, events and resources supporting businesses in integrating sustainability, reducing negative impact, enhancing positive impact and improving business outcomes. WSBC's mission is to advance sustainable principles and practices forward through the power of business and their vision is that all businesses in Wisconsin (and beyond) are adopting sustainable business models and transforming the way we do business, for the better. Jessy has experience in program development and facilitation and held businesses of her own. She is a co-founder and co-chair of the (Wisconsin) Women in Sustainability group, a network of professionals working to advance social and environmental sustainability while fostering collaboration and inclusivity. She also serves as an advisor to the UW Sustainable Management Program through UW Extended Campus. She is a fellow from New Leaders Council inaugural class in Madison in 2014 and she holds certificates in Lean Process, Professional Coaching, Permaculture and Regenerative Design.
