Annarose Doran

Annarose joined Masterfire as our Operations Manager in 2019 with B.A. (Hons) Immunology from Trinity College Dublin and an MSc in Marketing Practice from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. Prior to joining Masterfire Annarose worked in business analytics and consultancy for multinational companies in sectors such as Finance, Fast Moving Consumer Goods & Manufacturing. Since joining Masterfire, Annarose has introduced policies and procedures, managed system implementations including an ERP system and engineer hand-held, directed our third-party accredited quality management system and introduced a third-party accredited environmental management system. As Operations Manager, Annarose strives to drive continual improvement throughout the company.

Brendan Reilly

Brendan joined Masterfire as our Health & Safety officer in 2012 with a B.Sc. (Hons) Occupational Safety & Health from Sligo Institute of Technology. Brendan has also become a graduate member of IOSH which is the world's largest health and safety membership body. Since joining Masterfire, Brendan has been responsible for Masterfire gaining a ‘Grade A' standard accreditation form Safe-T-Cert. Brendan delivers training, implements policies and procedures as well as maintaining the company's health and safety management system. As Health & Safety Officer, Brendan is driven to maintain a proactive approach towards health and safety and continue the establishment of a positive safety culture.

Ciaran Smyth

Job Titles:
  • Fire Extinguisher Manager
Since joining Masterfire in 2005 Ciaran has been promoted to manager of the Fire Extinguisher department. Ciaran is trained and knowledgeable in relation to all relevant standards, I.S. 219:2015 & I.S 319:2020 in addition to having completed JOIFF training. Ciaran manages our nationwide team of Fire Extinguisher specialists ensuring all required support and training needs are met. All Fire Extinguisher installation projects are overseen by Ciaran. As manager of the Fire Extinguisher department, Ciaran consistently monitors developments within the industry and has a keen interest in introducing products which reduce negative environmental impacts.

Declan Brennan

Job Titles:
  • Sales Manager - Emergency Lighting
Declan joined Masterfire in September 2009 with over 30 experience in the electrical industry working in installation and maintenance in addition to estimations and project management. Declan has successfully delivered many high-profile projects within a range of sectors such as the mining, industrial, food processing and healthcare in both Ireland & the United Kingdom. As a Sales Manager in Masterfire, Declan focuses on our Emergency Lighting solution, from surveying to design, quotation and project management.

Harry Barrett

Job Titles:

With an electrical qualification and experience within the electrical industry, Harry joined Masterfire in 1998 at the company's foundation. Since 2006, Harry has been our Projects Director and has been responsible for overseeing a large number of complex projects in sectors ranging from mining to industrial, energy, pharmaceutical and healthcare. Harry manages our installation teams and guides and supports our project managers to ensure seamless project delivery. Harry is committed to catering to the needs of our customers and completing projects with minimal distribution.

Jarleth Devlin

Job Titles:
  • Commissioning Manager
Jarleth joined Masterfire in 2003 with a background in electrical electronic engineering and 10 years' experience within the fire protection industry. Jarleth has gained extensive knowledge of operating systems and product brands. As Commissioning Manger, Jarleth manages the initial commissioning of fire detection and alarm equipment on new projects. In addition, Jarleth oversees the commissioning engineering team, offers technical support and provides training. With broad system and manufacturer experience in addition to a genuine industry interest, Jarleth is strongly positioned to overcome challenges providing our customers with the assurance that we will consistently deliver.

Joan McKay

Joan McKay joined Masterfire's accounts department in 1999. Joan has an extensive knowledge of our business having assisted in the development of departments as the company grew. As our dedicated debt collector, Joan has built relationships with our customers and works closely with our accounts receivable team. Joan manages all aspects of credit control from new credit requests to collection of payments. Joan is focused on maintaining and strengthening customer relationships and improving internal communication.

John Cunningham - Managing Director

John founded Masterfire in 1998 having gained almost a decade worth of experience in the fire protection industry. After qualifying as a mechanical engineer in 1982, John worked with multi-national companies where he gained not only industry experience but business acumen. John's guidance and vision across all aspects of the business has been integral to the growth and success of Masterfire which remains the largest privately owned fire company in Ireland.

Mark Crosby

Job Titles:
  • Fire Door Manager
Mark joined Masterfire in 2012 as a qualified carpenter with more than 16 years' experience in the construction industry. Mark is 3rd party certified to carry out Fire Door inspections under the FDIS scheme (UKAS Accredited) and maintenance and repairs under the BMTrada Fire Door Maintenance scheme. In managing the Fire Door division, Mark's oversees the complete delivery of Fire Door installation and maintenance projects from consultancy to estimation and effective delivery. Mark is also responsible for guiding and facilitating the training and development of our Fire Door team. Mark remains up to date with all industry developments ensuring Masterfire lead the way in all aspects of fire protection.

Mary Martin

Job Titles:
  • Accounts Payable Manager
Mary has been managing the accounts payable department in Masterfire since 2004. Upon joining Masterfire, Mary developed effective accounting processes and procedures working closely with the various functions within our business and developing relationship with our suppliers. Mary has played an integral role in facilitating the growth of the organisation through consistent process improvements. In addition, Mary manages the accounts payable team, providing support, training and overseeing all activities. Mary is system focused and highly engaged in system implementations across the company whilst maintaining timely and effective operations with the accounts payable department.

Paul McNulty - VP of Sales

Paul joined Masterfire at its foundation in 1998, with an electrical qualification and experience having worked within the fire protection industry. Paul has practical experience across all aspects of our business from the solutions and services we provide to the manufacturers and systems we offer. This comprehensive engineering background enables Paul to scope and design effective systems, meet complex requirements and deliver the best possible solutions. As Sales Director Paul oversees the sales activities across all sectors of our business and provides support to the sales team ensuring a customer centric service is delivered from the outset.

Ronan McEleney

Job Titles:

Ronan joined the estimating team within Masterfire in 2016 with a B.E. (Hons) in Fire Safety Engineering from Letterkenny Institute of Technology. With over 8 years' experience in the fire protection industry, Ronan consults, designs and quotes systems such as Fire Detection and Alarm, Emergency Lighting, Nurse Call and Disabled Refuge for our customers in a range of sectors. Ronan works closely with our engineering team to generate designs and quotes requested.

Sean Traynor

Sean joined Masterfire in Jan 2011 with a B.Sc. (Hons) Building Surveying from Dundalk Institute of Technology as the Service Administrator. Prior to joining Masterfire, Sean had extensive construction experience in addition to a knowledge of Computer Aided Design. During his time with Masterfire, Sean has been promoted to Service Manager. Sean supports the service team of over 50 engineers, manages customer relations acting as our Key Account Manager and has introduced processes which aid workflow improvements. Sean is focused on the provision of a quality service to our customers and is continually striving to identify means of improvement.

Stephen Byrne

Stephen joined Masterfire in 2014 as our Design Manager with over a decade of experience in Computer Aided Design (CAD) among other design software. Since joining Masterfire, Stephen has gained a wealth of industry specific knowledge in addition to qualifications on standards and regulations enabling to create compliant and certifiable designs. Stephen remains up to date with all industry developments and strives to deliver tailored designs which afford optimum building safety while complying with standards and regulations.

Thomas Owens

Thomas joined Masterfire with an electrical qualification in 2000 and experience in domestic, industrial and refrigeration installations in addition to system servicing and maintenance. Thomas has extensive experience in a diverse range of our business from installation to commissioning and maintenance and servicing across a variety of sectors. In addition, Thomas managed Masterfire's service department prior to moving into the sales division and taking up the role of Sales Manager. As Sales Manager within our Fire Detection and Alarm solution, Thomas is involved in surveying, design, quotation and project management. Thomas' practical experience of the industry ensures the delivery of a bespoke and long-term solution for our customers.

TJ Doran

TJ qualified as a mechanical engineer in 1983 and joined Masterfire in 2002, having worked for a number of multinational companies across Europe, Asia and the United States in Electromechanical systems automation and maintenance. As Service Manager, TJ leads our service department of over 50 engineers nationwide. With extensive system and manufacturer knowledge TJ provides technical support and training and development across the service team. TJ's background is firmly based in quality service provision and customer centric support, and he has championed the introduction of a cloud-based service management tool within the company which affords customers a high degree of transparency and confidence.
