Metropole Architects was founded in 1997 by Nigel Tarboton. Tyrone Reardon joined the office in 2002, and became a partner in 2004. in 2021 Tyrone became the principal architect of the firm. Our offices are located in Durban, KwaZulu Natal, South Africa... Metropole Architects aims to generate design that stakes out new territory, and explore ideas that are intuitive, inventive, exuberant and daring.
