Erika Johnson

Erika specializes in estate and business law. Learn more about how Erika can help you get what you deserve. Another Montana native, Erika attended Willamette University (BA, Economics) and acquired her JD from the University of Montana. She pursued clerkships in both Federal District Court (J. Richard Anderson) and the Montana Supreme Court (J. William E. Hunt). Her practice focuses on estates and trusts, probate, business planning and transactions, real estate development and transactions, guardianship, conservatorship, and special needs planning. Erika is a member of the Montana State Bar, the BETTR Section (Business, Estates, Trusts, Tax and Real Estate) and the Northwest Montana Bar of Flathead County. She received the Montana State Bar's George F. Bousliman Professionalism Award for her efforts in assisting persons of modest means gain better access to the judicial system. Erika also co-founded the Bridges Autism Advocacy Group and she continues to advocate for increasing inclusive education, employment, and independent living opportunities for disabled individuals. Erika enjoys attending her kids' activities, being active in the outdoors, traveling, and giving back to her community.

Kelly O'Brien

Kelly specializes in estate and business law. Read more about Kelly and how she can put her legal expertise to work for you. Kelly is a fourth generation Montanan, originally from the Flathead Valley. Kelly obtained her BS in International Business from the University of Montana, and then went on to pursue her JD at Lewis & Clark School of Law in Portland with a certificate in natural resources law. While in Oregon, Kelly acquired deep business, land use, and estate planning experience with the Oregon Land Use Board of Appeals, City of Vancouver, various charitable entities and private law firms. Upon returning to the Flathead Valley in 2011, she has focused her practice on business law, real estate law, probate, trusts and estate planning. Kelly is licensed in Oregon and Montana and is currently working to obtain her Masters in Taxation L.L.M. through the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. She is delighted to have the privilege to live and practice law in NW Montana where she enjoys time exploring in the mountains with friends and family.

Marybeth Sampsel

Marybeth is an expert when it comes to family law and appeals. Marybeth works collaboratively with clients to reach their goals. A Montana native, Marybeth grew up in Miles City, attended the University of Montana and Rutgers School of Law in New Jersey. She then caught the first flight back to Montana after graduation. Her practice focuses on appeals, family law, alternative dispute resolution and mediation. She is a past trustee of the State Bar of Montana, the Fee Free Arbitration Committee and the State Bar Professionalism Committee. Locally, she is proud to serve on the board of CASA for Kids and as the Vice President of the Board for Discovery Developmental Center. On the water is the other place you can find Marybeth with her husband, Paul, and their three children.

Sarah Johnson

Sarah specializes in family law and is motivated to work for you because you deserve excellent legal representation. Sarah is an attorney practicing family law, employment law and business practices, and general civil litigation. She spent time on both the East Coast and West Coast before calling Kalispell home over a decade ago. Sarah received her undergraduate degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University and is a graduate of UCLA School of Law. She is licensed in both California and Montana and has been a member of the California State Bar since 2003. Sarah is the past President of the Northwest Montana Bar Association and currently sits on its Executive Board. She spends her free time trying to keep up with her three amazing kids and enjoying all that living in the Flathead Valley has to offer.
