Andrea Watkins

Andrea Watkins is the Office Manager for Mercy Primary Care Center. She joined MPCC in 2002 and has been the Center's Office Manager since 2004. Andrea is a loving wife and fantastic mother to her three children. She is also the First Lady of her church and loves to sing in the choir. Andrea is known for her great sense of style, especially her shoes. She is Mercy's Sparkling Star for many reasons - from her own sparkling personality and impeccable taste to how hard she works to make sure the Center is clean and fresh. Andrea is a spunky, energetic and loving person. She is also respectful, forthright and extremely professional. As office manager, she works hard to make sure that the Center runs as smoothly as possible and handles the daily crises that come up. Andrea is a staunch advocate for MPCC patients and staff. When working on projects for the Center, Andrea makes sure to understand the details of the project, provides thoughtful and honest feedback on how it will work in the Center, and if it impacts others, she speaks up for them to make sure that their needs are considered. Once all the details are in place, she works hard to make sure it gets done well and in a timely manner. Andrea is very organized and helpful to others in the Center. She takes pride in ensuring that the Center remains clean for the patients. Andrea has a big heart and is very kind to the patients, especially the children.

Anjanette Szewc

  • Medical Assistant
Anjanette Szewc joined Mercy Primary Care Center as a medical assistant in 2003. She splits her time as a medical assistant. A major part of Anjanette's time is spent working with patients to obtain medication for them through the Pap- Program (patient assistance program) through the pharmaceutical companies. She also maintains the medical supply inventory, making sure that the Center has the necessary tools to care for patients. Anjanette is diligent and accurate in her work. This is critical in her role, as she completes many forms and keeps track of multiple deadlines. Anjanette is also willing to take on new tasks as needed. Additionally, she is able to and usually does juggle several tasks at once. Anjanette has a great deal of empathy for people. She goes out of her way to help in any situation with the patients, co-workers or family members. The staff at Mercy Primary Care Center likes to think of Anjanette as being a sweet pleasant individual. She is a peacemaker and a caring person. Anjanette is known for thinking things out before making any rash decisions. She is inquisitive and Anjanette is also considered a good role model for other staff at Mercy. She is the type of person that everyone would want as a good friend. "Anjanette is a top-notch medical assistant and a person who is exceedingly good hearted".

Ashley Holland-Fender

Ashley has been a Data Analyst for MPCC since the spring of 2017. She works hard to organize our health data into reports and analyze it. Accuracy is extremely important to Ashley and she pays close attention to detail in order to maintain the quality of care for our patients.

Dr. Margaret Meyers

Job Titles:
  • Medical Director
Dr. Margaret Meyers is the Medical Director for Mercy Primary Care Center. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Meyers is a graduate of the Wayne State School of Medicine and did her residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield. After residency, she had a practice up at Providence and was director for a free clinic in partnership with a local church parish. Dr. Meyers has been with Mercy Primary Care Center since the day it opened in March 2001 and provides acute and chronic health care as well as preventive health care services. The staff at Mercy has a special kind of love for Dr. Meyers. Not only does Dr. Meyers take good care of her patients she also attends to the needs of her staff as well. She is never too busy to ask, "Are you feeling ok? Or is everything ok? You look a little pale." Before you know it you are in an exam room and she is asking you are you allergic to any medications. She is truly a blessing from God. Also, Dr. Meyers has a mothering spirit imbedded within her. Dr. Meyers, everyone at MPCC would like to say a BIG THANK YOU for answering our early morning calls and our late calls at night to answer our medical needs. There is truly none like you. We thank you for being such a caring, understanding and loving individual that you are. You are one of the reasons why we feel like family here, because you treat us like real family. Dr. Pamela Berry-Williams

Dr. Pamela Berry-Williams is a staff physician at Mercy Primary Care Center. Dr. Williams is also a loving wife and a devoted mother to her three children. She is truly a model for what being a family physician means, caring about her patients and the community and giving of herself to meet their needs. Dr. Williams is a very knowledgeable, dedicated and caring physician. Dr. Williams works with patients to improve their lives. She is a great advocate for healthy eating and a healthy lifestyle for both patients and staff, and she sets an exemplary personal example with her great eating habits and regular exercise. Her contributions to the center have led to improvements in the quality of and access to care. Her compassion for each patient knows no bounds. When Dr. Williams isn't seeing patients, she devotes her spare time to volunteering at her children's school as well as a local elementary school that is in dire need of resources. In addition, she is one of the owners of "Crystal Closet" through which she makes jewelry on her own time and gives the proceeds to the MPCC Special Personal Assistance (SPA) program to purchase needed items for the clients. The staff members here like to think of Dr. Williams as being a wonderful, cheerful, and calm person. Her smile brightens the whole office, along with her distinctive laugh. Staff members say of Dr. Williams, "We never see her get upset. We are very fortunate to have her as a friend who is willing to extend a helping hand whether you need it or not. We have learned so much from her; she is really a great role model of the new millennium." She is very easy person to work with and is very much respected by the entire staff.

Margaret Wells

  • Adult Nurse Practitioner at MPCC
Margaret Wells has worked as an Adult Nurse Practitioner at MPCC since 2012. She is a caring, talented provider who cares for complex patients with knowledge and skill. Her big heart and great dedication to her patients is inspiring. She is not afraid to get to know her patients at a deep level in hopes of supporting them in their health goals. She is also a powerhouse; she works full time while raising 4 beautiful, active children. Despite juggling many things in her life, she is always positive. Her constant smile and energy always rub off on her co-workers, brightening everyone's day. She is a blessing to work with and is always interested in her co-workers' and patients' well-being.

Ms. Nettles Robinson

Ms. Nettles Robinson has been the Executive Director at Mercy Primary Care Center since 2015. She has taken on a very difficult role and works hard to improve the future of the center. She strives for MPCC to meet patients where they are and empower them to improve their health. She has entered a challenging role with ease and grace. Ms. Nettles Robinson also is a wife and mother to two wonderful daughters. Furthermore, she is very involved in community organizing and serves on several boards and local committees. Overall, her dedication to MPCC is inspiring to many. According to the staff, she is "one of the coolest executive directors Mercy has had."

Susan Landry RPh

  • Pharmacist at MPCC
Susan has been a pharmacist at MPCC since the spring of 2017. She works hard to ensure our patients get the medications they need. Her co-workers describe her as "extremely smart and ready to jump in whenever and wherever she is needed." She also has a wonderful smile. Susan, moreover, is a proud mother. She loves sharing stories and pictures of her family! Mercy Primary Care Center is blessed to have Susan as a pharmacist and we hope she stays part of our team for a long time to come.

Tracy Threat

Tracy joined the Mercy team in March 2021; however, she has been a partner in our work for over 10 years as the Lead Nurse Practitioner of McAuley Health Center, our longtime clinical partners who shared space with us for over a decade. Tracy has a special connection with patients, they trust her and stay with the practice for years. Additionally, she brings years of experience working with pediatric patients as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner.
