Brenda Brockbank is the Vice President of Investment Management in MCAP's Commercial Mortgages Group. Brenda joined MCAP in 2019 and is responsible for credit policy, underwriting, and adjudication across Canada. In addition, Brenda is responsible for investment management and assisting in the sale of MCAP's mortgages to its commercial investors. Having previously worked at TD Bank and CMHC, she brings a wealth of experience to this position having been active in real estate finance for over 25 years. Brenda's previous roles have included working with public and private partnerships to develop social housing, managing client relations, originating new mortgage business, and adjudicating credit.

Brian Carey is Executive Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer of MCAP Commercial L.P. Brian is responsible for overseeing the planning, direction, and overall profitability of all operations across our lines of business, including Single Family, Commercial Mortgages, and Development Finance. Brian is a member of the Executive Management Committee and is responsible for optimizing MCAP's long-term sustainable earnings within Board approved risk parameters, creating long term value and preserving its assets, capital and reputation. A Chartered Professional Accountant (CA), Brian joined MCAP in 2007 as Vice President and Controller. He was subsequently promoted to Senior Vice President Finance & Treasury in 2012 and then to Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer in 2013. David Boyle

David Boyle is the Co-Managing Partner for the CMG team. David joined MCAP in 2013, and is responsible for leading and managing the origination team in addition to developing new investor programs to support the targeted growth of CMG. In his previous role David was responsible for all aspects of investment management and credit policy at MCAP CMG. In addition to leading the underwriting team, David was also responsible for national credit adjudication. David has over 19 years' experience in the financial services industry including commercial term, corporate cash-flow and development finance across a variety of sectors and locations. Prior to joining MCAP, David worked with three of the largest financial institutions in Ireland. In his various roles, he has originated, adjudicated and managed a diverse portfolio of loans in Europe and the U.S. David holds an MBA from Bangor University (UK), in addition to a multitude of professional banking and finance qualifications awarded by the Institute of Bankers in Ireland and the Dublin Institute of Technology. Don Ross is Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategic Initiatives, and has held several senior positions during his 20-plus years at MCAP. Over that span, Don has been involved in commercial asset management, loan servicing, investor relations, commercial lending, investment management, capital markets and structured finance. He has originated loans, been a member of MCAP's investment committee, and been instrumental in several corporate acquisitions. Currently, he provides clients with investment opportunities in MCAP's product lines, from managed mortgage funds to loan syndications to securitization structures. Don's vast experience in the real estate industry has allowed him to forge key business relationships with Canada's major financial institutions. Hasnain Asghar

In 2020, he joined the MCAP Commercial Origination team as an Analyst before being promoted to his current role in March of 2023. Jacques Pelletier

Jacques Pelletier is a Director of MCAP's Commercial Mortgages Group in the Montreal office. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing commercial real estate debt transactions for CMG's investor accounts. Jacques joined MCAP in January 2018 to develop the commercial business line in the province of Quebec. He has over 30 years' experience covering many facets of the commercial real estate industry. Most recently, Jacques retired after 28 years with CMHC where he has held different roles with increased responsibilities. In the last 5 years at CMHC, Jacques worked as a regional manager of multi-unit underwriting, where he lead a team of 40 employees responsible for loan approval for the Quebec Region. Jacques has developed extensive knowledge on the products and policies of mortgage loan insurance, CMHC underwriting practices and risk tolerance levels. Jacques has also been a lecturer at the École des Hautes Études Commerciaux, where he taught macroeconomics for 15 years. Jacques holds a M.A. in Economics from Queens University; he is fully bilingual and works out of MCAP's Montreal Office. Jan Kim

Over the last nine years, Jan Kim has taken on progressively more challenging roles within the mortgage industry. Having started as an Associate at a Schedule I bank, she developed a stellar reputation at other financial institutions with a focus on construction financing. Prior to joining MCAP, she led a team responsible for underwriting and funding over $1 billion of loans for CMHC's Rental Construction Financing Initiative (RCFI) affordable housing program. Today, as a Director with MCAP's Commercial Mortgages Group, Jan's goal is to understand her clients' needs and help them achieve their goals over the long-term. Jan is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University. Outside of work, she enjoys doing HIIT workouts, spending time with friends and family, and can be found in the garden trying to grow some green thumbs.

Jason Wright joined MCAP in 1999 and is responsible for funding and securitization activities relating to MCAP's single-family and commercial mortgage originations. Leo was successful in having MCAP selected to be one of two lenders by the Province of Ontario for its Wave 1 Affordable Housing Program. Leo has over 25 years of experience in construction and commercial term real estate finance. Prior to joining MCAP in 1991, he held management positions with a Schedule 1 bank in corporate and real estate finance followed by a life company owned real estate finance subsidiary. His tenure with MCAP included several years with a mortgage brokerage subsidiary. Leo believes knowledge, integrity, honesty, accountability, and trust are the keys to being successful in this profession. Leo holds an MBA from the University of Toronto Rotman School Of Management. Leo is an avid road bike racer, and spent several years fundraising for the Heart and Stroke Foundation principally through its annual Ride for Heart held in Toronto. Prior to becoming President and Chief Executive Officer, Mark was MCAP's President and Chief Operating Officer since 2013. He was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2006 to 2013. Mark also advised the Executive Management Committee and the Board of Directors on strategic initiatives, acquisitions and distribution of assets. With over two decades of experience in financial services in Canada and Europe, Martin has a wealth of knowledge and experience in risk management, data and analytics and leading successful banking operations. Prior to joining MCAP, Martin spent over ten years as a senior executive at BMO, leading their personal and small business banking line of business. In this role, from 2009 to 2012, when BMO held an equity stake in MCAP Service Corporation, he served as a member of the board of MCAP Mortgage Corporation and then as the Chair. Over his career, he has also held advisory positions with regulatory bodies such as the CMHC and First Canadian Title. Prior to working for BMO Martin spent seven years with McKinsey & Co in France, serving financial institutions across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. As Associate Director, Commercial Funding, Nelly Eshraghi brings a unique combination of real estate experience and legal background to MCAP's Commercial Mortgages Team. She developed in-depth industry knowledge over seven years in commercial real estate roles in the government and financial sectors and was called to the Iranian Law Society Bar in 2006 following her bachelor's degree in Law and her master's degree in International Commerce Law. In her role today, Nelly manages and oversees the financial operations related to commercial funding within the MCAP organization, such as developing and implementing funding strategies, fostering relationships with financial institutions, mitigating financial risks, providing leadership and guidance, and staying up to date on market changes. Recognized as a team leader who can be counted on to solve issues, secure funding deals and develop strategic partnerships, Nelly is known for her ability to mitigate risk, operate efficiently and expand funding options for clients. Outside of work, Nelly is an artist specializing in watercolour and pastels. She also enjoys playing the piano and the tar (a Persian instrument).

Paul Bruce is responsible for the strategic direction of MCAP's Single Family Residential mortgage business. He joined the company in 1992. In his 25+ years at MCAP and its predecessor companies, Paul has held various senior positions and responsibilities including the oversight of Sales, Underwriting, Risk Management, Mortgage Servicing, Subservicing, Default Management and Mortgage Investigations. Paul is a key member of the leadership team responsible for Mergers and Acquisitions. In 2012, MCAP completed the acquisition of the ResMor mortgage portfolio (the 4th largest mortgage acquisition in Canada) and more recently, MCAP acted in an advisory capacity with RFA's acquisition of Street Bank (the second largest acquisition in Canada). Robert (Bob) is responsible for the strategic direction and operations of the construction and development finance line of business for MCAP nationally. Development Finance services the Canadian real estate market focused on residential and commercial construction loans, value-added capital requirements (mezzanine and equity structures) and loan investment management. Operating from three offices regionally located in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto; the Development Finance group contracts with its Developer/Borrower clients to arrange financing on a focused & targeted basis. MCAP's Development Finance group structures each investment transaction on its merits directing the origination to the investor clients best suited for the investment based upon product, location, pricing, capacity, developer history and experience. Bob has been with MCAP since 1994 and active in real estate finance since 1975. His real estate finance experience is extensive from direct lending, real estate brokerage (as owner principal) and mortgage banking with MCAP DFG. He is a licensed mortgage and real estate broker and is a past President of the Alberta Mortgage and Loans Association. TJ Lee is a Director of MCAP's Commercial Mortgages Group in the Calgary office. He is responsible for originating, structuring, and closing commercial mortgages with emphasis on CMHC insured mortgage products. TJ has over 30 years of experience in real estate, financing and mortgage experience gained primarily with CMHC. Having held the position of Regional Manager/Director of Underwriting and Real Estate Default Management for over 15 years, and holding various positions at CMHC spanning over 25 years, TJ was responsible for managing and overseeing the real estate mortgage insurance operations in the Prairies and Territories Region- the largest geographical region in the country. In addition to annually overseeing multi-billion dollars of mortgage insurance and underwriting for both homeownership and multi-residential real estate, TJ's other responsibilities included the management and oversight of Real Estate Default Management and properties in distress. TJ holds a B.A. in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Winnipeg and holds professional designations of Certified Property Manager (CPM), and Certified Financial Administration (CFAdmin), as well as memberships in Mortgage Professionals Canada (MPC) and RECA. Vito Campisi is a Senior Director in MCAP's Commercial Mortgages Group. He joined MCAP in 2011 after a 33 year career with CMHC. Vito is responsible for originating, structuring and closing commercial mortgages with emphasis on CMHC mortgage insured products that include: multi-family rental, retirement homes, not-for-profit housing and student housing. During his time at CMHC, Vito held various management positions in underwriting, finance, real estate, mortgage default management, non-profit housing delivery and housing agreements administration. Most notably, he managed the Ontario Region Multifamily and Homeowner Underwriting Departments from 1997 to 2011. Vito is a Licensed Mortgage Broker, an Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) and a Professional Accountant (CGA,CPA).
