Dr Skidmore has extensive experience in upper gastrointestinal tract surgery and surgery for obesity. He attended Melbourne Boys High School before going to the University of Melbourne obtaining his medical degree.
After medical school, he trained at the Austin hospital in General Surgery before travelling to the UK and further training with Shaw Somers, a world renowned upper gastrointestinal and obesity surgeon. Shaw was the star of the Discovery Channel documentary, The Fat Doctor.
After returning to Australia in 2007, he has established a practice that specialises in diseases of the oesophagus, stomach, gallbladder and obesity. He has also performed a large number of keyhole hernia repairs. He is a mentor for a number of surgeons for the sleeve gastrectomy operation and also the keyhole hernia operation.
Currently he is studying for his MBA at the University of Melbourne. He continues to present papers and lectures to both students and other doctors. He is currently completing a major review on Barrett'ss oesophagus.

Dr Andrea Riha is a Vascular Physician who has been consulting in vascular medicine and cardiology at The Wesley Hospital since 2001. Dr Andrew Jakobovits is in fulltime practice as a gastroenterologist while maintaining time as a member of the Visiting Medical Staff at the Alfred Hospital in the Gastroenterology Unit. Dr Andrew Renaut is a specialist colorectal and general surgeon, based in Brisbane. He trained in the UK, USA and Australia, including a dedicated period of research resulting in a Masters of Surgery and a thesis entitled Immune Mechanisms in Cancer's. He has extensive experience in laparoscopic colorectal and general surgery, and also colonoscopy and gastroscopy, in addition to surgical and medical management of gastrointestinal diseases. Dr Renaut has also undergone specialist training in critical care and the management of trauma.
Dr Renaut is also a media entrepreneur and is passionate about teaching. Dr Anna Manolopoulos is a Melbourne based Orthopaedic Surgeon who completed her undergraduate training at Melbourne'ss Monash University in 1991. Following this, Dr Manolopoulos concluded her Orthopaedic Surgery training in 2011. Dr Manolopoulos has completed a 2 year Trauma Fellowship at the Western Hospital in Melbourne and is part of the trauma roster for her public hospital appointments.
In 2012 Dr Manolopoulos gained her ABIME accreditation and is a certified independent medical Examiner. In addition, she is accredited to conduct TAC VIC, AMA 4 PI and Comcare assessments. Her interests include paediatric orthopaedic surgery, particularly developmental dysplasia of the hip. Dr Anthony Wilson was educated in Brisbane and received his medical degree from the University of Queensland in 1983. He then completed his Orthopaedic training and was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 1994 and became a fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association in 1998. He completed fellowships in General Orthopaedics at the Princess Alexandra Hospital (Brisbane), Foot Surgery at the Addenbrookes Hospital (Cambridge,UK), and Knee Surgery at the Queens Medical Centre (Nottingham,UK). He has also been a Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland since 1997.
Currently, Dr Wilson is a visiting specialist at St Andrew'ss and St Vincent'ss Hospitals in Toowoomba. He holds numerous board positions including seats at the Q-Comp Orthopaedic Assessment Tribunal since 2004 and the AOA Regional Training Committee.
Dr Wilson is able to assess all orthopaedic conditions, in particular the lower limb. His assessment specialities include the knee, ankle and foot.
Dr Ashwani Kumar Garg is a Psychiatrist who gained his degree in Psychiatry through The Tamil Nadu Dr M.G.R. Medical University in India in 1995.
Dr Garg has over twenty years' experience in comprehensive assessments and treatment of various psychiatric disorders along with five years' experience conducting Medico-Legal assessments & reports.
Dr Garg currently divides his time between public mental health and in a private clinic, he actively assesses and manages psychiatric disorders through the public and private sector. Dr Garg also holds the position of Senior lecturer at Griffith University on the Gold Coast along with working as a consultant in the mood academic unit in Queensland.
Dr Garg has completed research in biological and psychosocial risk factors of psychopathology in epilepsy along with receiving the award for best research of 2000 at the conference of East Zonal Indian Psychiatrists for his paper on ˜Association of Aura and psychopathology in localization related epilepsy's. Dr Ben Duke completed his medical studies at the University of Newcastle, New South Wales, in 1999 and received his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists in 2008. He has undertaken further studies, including a Certificate of Advanced Training in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, a Master of Health Administration, and a Master of Public Health.
Dr Duke is currently a Consultant Psychiatrist at the Oxford Clinic in Bulimba. He has previously held Consultant Psychiatrist positions at The Royal Brisbane and Women'ss Hospital, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Caboolture Hospital, and Belmont Private Hospital.
Dr Duke has completed the Comcare, GEPI and PIRS training, and is certified to assess permanent impairment in psychiatric injuries. His assessment specialities encompass psychiatric sequelae of brain injuries, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and adjustment disorders. Dr Brett Halliday is a Queensland trained orthopaedic surgeon. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1988. He received his FRACS (Orth) in 1997, becoming a full Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association (FAOrthA) in 2002. He is a certified independent medical examiner and a senior visiting specialist orthopaedic surgeon at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. He works in private practice at the St Vincent'ss Private Hospital Northside (Chermside, Brisbane).
Since finishing his training as an orthopaedic surgeon in Queensland, Dr Halliday completed additional training in joint replacement and trauma at Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital in the United Kingdom. Upon returning to Australia he took up the position of the Director of Orthopaedic Surgery in January of 2000. He remained as the Director of Orthopaedic Surgery in at the Royal Brisbane Hospital with interests in orthopaedic trauma management and hip and knee replacement until mid-2002. At this point he left the public position to undertake private practice. He continues to work as a Senior Visiting Specialist at the Royal Brisbane Hospital.
Dr Halliday is an active participant in post-graduate medical education. He is involved with the training of medical students, resident medical officers, and orthopaedic registrar training at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. Additionally, he has been an elected member of the Australian Orthopaedic Association State and Federal Committees.
In the past Dr Halliday has been a member of the Road Trauma Committee of Queensland (a branch of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons 2000 to 2005). He was also a member of the Medical Advisory Committee at the Holy Spirit Northside Hospital from 2003 to 2005.
Dr Bruce Love has practiced in Orthopaedic surgery with particular interest in surgery of the hip and knee for more than 25 years. He attained his MBBS at the University of Melbourne in 1970. Dr Bruce Love completed his training through the Victoria Orthopaedic Training Program and did fellowship training at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in London, United Kingdom.
Upon return to Melbourne he was appointed to the Department of Orthopaedic at St. Vincent's Hospital where he became a senior associate in the University of Melbourne, Department of Surgery. He has subsequently been awarded the title of Associate Professor in that department.
Dr Bruce Love continues to lecture in Biomaterials for Monash University. In 2011 Dr Bruce Love has attained accreditation as a Certified Independent Medical Examiner (CIME) by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners (ABIME). Dr Charles Brooker is an Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist and consults at the Northern Pain Centre. He specialises in minimally invasive intervention technologies as a component of a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment of persistent pain with the goal of relieving pain and improving function and quality of life.
Dr Brooker has over 20 years' experience in Interventional Pain Medicine. He is head of the department of Pain Management at Royal North Shore hospital and a Clinical Associate Professor at the Northern Clinical School, University of Sydney. He is a specialist in the use of spinal cord stimulation and radiofrequency procedures in the treatment of a comprehensive range of pain conditions.
As well as being a member of the examination committee of the Faculty of Pain Medicine (FPMANZCA) he is also an active member of The International Association for the Study of Pain, the Australian Pain Society and the International Neuromodulation Society.
Dr Brooker has specialist qualifications in both pain medicine and anaesthesia. He completed his medical degrees and internship in the United Kingdom before undertaking postgraduate anaesthesia training in Australia, obtaining Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 1998. He underwent subspecialty training in pain medicine and completed a comprehensive Interventional Pain Medicine Specialist Fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital Pain Management and Research Centre and was awarded Fellowship of the Faculty of Pain Medicine in 2000.

Dr Zappala worked within the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps as a Reserve Regimental Medical Officer taking care of the health of deployable officers including aspects of preventative health and exercise planning. He held command of medical assets at unit level. He continued on to do further advanced training in Thoracic and Sleep Medicine with the Royal Brisbane Hospital involving patient consultations and multidisciplinary clinics. There was also a strong emphasis on student and junior medical officer teaching. In 2005 he undertook a Fellowship involving clinical research with a sub-specialised inpatient, outpatient and consultation service component with The Royal Brompton Hospital in their Interstitial Lung Diseases Unit.
