David Prince

As Chief Technologist and Webmaster, Mr. Prince provides technical analysis, programming and systems support, and has worked with Memory Strategies since 1994. He designed the Memory Strategies and New Energy Strategies web sites and provides systems expertise for our technical reports. He is coauthor of the book, Memories for the Intelligent Internet of Things (2018), published by John Wiley & Sons. David has a B.Sc. in Physics, a B.Sc. in Computer Science, and an M.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas.

Dr. Betty Prince - CEO

Dr. Prince is CEO of Memory Strategies International. She has also worked with Texas Instruments, NV Philips and Motorola in memory technology and marketing management, at RCA in the development of an early microprocessor and at Fairchild in semiconductor process technology. She is author of the books: Semiconductor Memories (1982), Semiconductor Memories 2nd Edition (1992), High Performance Memories, (1996, revised 1999), 3D Vertical Memory Technologies (2014), and coauthor of Memories for the Intelligent Internet of Things (2018), all published by John Wiley & Sons, and Emerging Memories - Technologies and Trends, (2002) published by Springer. She is a Senior Life Member of the IEEE, has served as an IEEE SSCS Distinguished Lecturer, on the Program Committee of the IEEE CICC and the ITC and on the Technical Advisory Board of IEEE Spectrum magazine. She was active in the JEDEC Standards Organization where she was founder of the JC-16 interface standards committee, Co-Chair of the JC42.2 SRAM standards committee and U.S. representative to the IEC SC47A WG3 memory committee. She has served on the Technical Advisory Board of several memory companies including: Cavendish Kinetics, Emerging Memory Technologies, Silicon Access Networks and Cogent Chipware and on the Board of Directors of Mosaid Technologies. She holds patents in the memory, processor and interface areas. She has a B.S. and M.S. in physics and math from the University of New Mexico and the University of California, an M.B.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Texas with doctoral dissertation on fractal modeling.

Joe Hartigan

Job Titles:

Mr. Hartigan, an independent outside consultant, provides occasional technical and strategic marketing expertise under contract to Memory Strategies. He has an extensive background in the semiconductor memory industry. He has experience with Texas Instruments in DRAM and Flash strategic and product marketing, with Toshiba marketing the FCRAM, and with Enhanced Memories (Ramtron) as Director of Marketing for their P-SRAM line. Joe has authored articles on DRAMs and holds several patents in the DRAM area. He has a B.S. in engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD.
