Metro Overhead Door opened its doors in 1984. It was started by Don Gonrowski and Pat Hoffert as an overhead door company providing 24 hour emergency service for commercial and residential garage door clients in the Portland/Metro area. Their goal over 30 years ago was to provide exceptional, timely service to all of Metro's customers, no matter how big or small. Thirty-four years later, that same goal continues to drive Metro Overhead Door and Access Control's 80+ employees. Our product line and services may have expanded, but our determination and vision have stayed the same. Metro Overhead Door continues to be a family run business that is big enough to tackle the largest jobs, while still caring about every customer that walks through our door or calls us on the phone...
