MITBA

The Malaysian Insurance & Takaful Brokers Association (MITBA) is Malaysia's sole statutory association approved by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) to represent the interests of insurance and takaful brokers. MITBA has 26 members that employ over 1,400 professionally trained personnel who provide insurance and takaful solutions to virtually every community across the country. As a non-profit organization, MITBA is neither an insurance company nor does it sell insurance products or represent insurance companies... MITBA also offers training, technical advice, guidance on regulation, and business support. Our role is to elevate the status of insurance and takaful brokers through professional development and by establishing improved standards of qualification and ethical practices.
