MMW ARCHITECTS - Key Persons
Angie is a Missoula native who has returned home after practicing in San Francisco, living abroad and traveling extensively around the world. Her interests are wide ranging from the arts and hand crafted, to local food systems, health and wellness and the exchange of ideas. While doing graduate work and living in a small Italian hilltown, she focused her thesis on how to create experiential spaces through sensual engagement (using the five traditional senses, plus the sixth sense of kinesthetic movement), ultimately to provide a lasting memory in one's mind.
Angie's goal is to stir the soul by designing spaces that inspire, celebrate place, illustrate art/craft/story and dance lightly on the earth. All design decisions are choreographed for "the good life." No detail, on any job, is too small to obsess about…and wonder if it is as evocative and functional as can be. She applies this same verve of life to her family, friends and growing household zoo.

What started as a college internship in 2001 has turned into a career with MMW for Colin. Colin has been the project architect on some of the firm's largest projects, is an expert in LEED and has also become the firm leader in energy modeling. If he had another life, he might choose to be an economist. Perhaps this explains his innate abilities of tightly running a project, as well as his commitment to post occupancy verification, which allows the owner and architect to know if systems are performing as expected. He's helped the firm bring new industries to market, restore important habitat and gain approval for progressive infrastructure systems. In addition, Colin has a reputation with his clients for providing exceptional and friendly service. In the off hours, Colin runs like a cheetah, plays soccer and enjoys his family.
