MPA

Although it is a relatively young organization, the Maine Principals' Association boasts a proud heritage of leadership and service within the state's educational community. The MPA was chartered in 1992 as the result of a merger between the Maine Secondary School Principals' Association, which was incorporated in 1951, and the Maine Elementary Principals' Association, which was incorporated in 1975. The forerunner of the MSSPA was the State Principals' Association, founded in 1927.
