Our hospital is mainly a orthopaedic-trauma centre which have a history of 20 years. In this field we almost do all kind of operations include both adults and children of all ages. We are the only centre in Afghanistan which do joint replacement for hip and knee joint. 40% of our operations are related to neuro-orthopaedic which include DDD (degenerative disc disease), spinal and vertebral trauma. 15% our patients consist of revision operations. We are the last stop for these patients, after going many unsuccessful surgeries in our country and abroad. About 40% are trauma patients both adults and children (many of them with severe soft tissue defect and burns, which require flaps and skin graft). Remaining 15% are patient requiring joint replacement, patients with acquired and congenital deformities, oncology patients, patients requiring limb lengthening (which is Prof. Mussa's super specialty)...
