Corene was a member of the Law Society of WA's Law Office Management section from 1996 and sat on the Law Office Management Committee since 2002 (as Convenor since 2003). As part of this role, Corene was actively involved in co-ordinating an array of events and initiatives through the Committee for the law office managers and legal support executives of Western Australia. Corene was also responsible for organising the biennial Law Office Management Expo and other networking events for the members of this section of the Society.
Corene is currently a member of the Legal Practice Section of the Law Council of Australia and previously sat as the WA representative for the Australian Law Management Group. She is also a member of the Australasian Legal Practice Management Association (ALPMA) and the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI).

Mike Frampton joined Murfett Legal as "Partner - Tax, Commercial & Estate Planning" in October 2017 in order to head up the commercial practice group for the firm.
Having previously worked in Australia at three top-tier national/international firms for over 25 years, with more than 13 of those years being at partner level, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge, depth and experience to the Murfett Legal team.
Mike is recognised by his peers as a leading lawyer and most recently listed in the 2021 Best Lawyers Australia Edition for Commercial and Tax Law.
Mike has worked with large national and international public companies, large and small private companies, partnerships, trusts and other business enterprises as well as high wealth individuals. He genuinely enjoys the technical challenges associated with tax and commercial law and the opportunities to assist clients by providing practical solutions to complex tax and commercial issues.
