Nepal Association of the Blind (NAB) is a non-governmental, non-profit national organization established in 1993 to advocate for the rights and interests of blind and partially sighted (BPS) individuals in Nepal. NAB is led by a 17-member Central Executive Board, including six blind women, elected every three years through its General Assembly. The organization operates through seven Provincial Committees, 59 district branches, and 53 municipal branches, with a membership of over 4,000 individuals across the country... NAB advocates for the rights of persons with visual impairments by strengthening legal frameworks, promoting inclusive policies, and raising awareness at national, provincial, and local levels.
