Dr. Amanda Mirabella

Dr. Amanda Mirabella obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Findlay in Findlay, Ohio while on a division II softball scholarship. She then went on to the University of Illinois for her veterinary degree. She has a special interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, internal medicine, and exotic/wildlife medicine. Dr. Mirabella grew up in the Elgin, Illinois area. In her spare time she still enjoys playing and watching sports. She also enjoys spending time with her animals including her 3 dogs: Bindi, Juno, and Pippen (pictured), 6 cats, 2 rabbits, 3 turtles, her bearded dragon, and her quaker parrot.

Dr. Mark Borcherding

Dr. Mark Borcherding received his undergraduate at UW-Platteville in Wisconsin and is well traveled, having studied 3 years in Grenada in the West Indies at St. George's University as well as 1 year at Kansas State University and as far as Peru! His interests include exotic animals, having taken additional courses in coral reef ecology, reptile and amphibian medicine and an exotics rotation with well known Dr. Carpenter and Dr. Eschar at Kansas State University. Dr. Borcherding has had many animals throughout his life, each of them touching his life in a unique way and wanting to protect that bond for others who share it. He owns pet fish (fresh water and saltwater) and a bearded dragon named Sunny! In his spare time, Dr. Borcherding enjoys painting landscapes, scuba, swimming and craft projects. His passion is providing every animal that an average person owns with the best medicine he can provide. Regardless of whether it slithers, walks, swims, or flies Dr. Borcherding aims to help animals of every size and shape. He's excited to meet you and your pets!

Dr. Melissa Diaz

Dr. Melissa Diaz was born and raised in Chicago and completed her undergraduate degree in agricultural science at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL. She then attended Ross University in St. Kitts for her Veterinary degree. Her professional interests are in exotics, surgery, preventative medicine and cardiology. Dr. Diaz has 2 adopted pets: Kitty, a domestic short-haired cat and Luna, who she believes is a Pitbull/Great Dane mix. Outside of work, she enjoys playing softball, watching sports (Bears and White Sox), cooking/baking, outdoor activities, traveling and spending time with her family and friends. She looks forward to meeting you and your furry (and other) family members.

Leslie Spacil

Leslie has been with The Pet Experts for over 26 years, throughout which time she's been working her magic behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. While her daily tasks keep her plenty busy, she makes time to expand her management skills by attending annual veterinary conferences and workshops, as well as various classes on computer programs. She thoroughly enjoys the business aspect of the practice and also looks forward to each and every opportunity to meet and speak with clients and to help with all of their needs. Outside of work, Leslie enjoys running and spending time with her beautiful daughter, her husband, and their 4 dogs- Buddy, Dierks, Avi & Cale.

Vanna Graunke

Vanna is new to the Naperville team after 20 years in the hospitality industry. She enjoys leading and developing teams, and wanted to bring that to the veterinary field. Outside of work she spends her time going to concerts, indoor cycling, exploring Chicago, and most importantly having fun with her son.
