Collaborator on behalf of Global Design Services in the development of future lifestyle brands.
Brittany has made the shift in her career from leading projects as both an interior designer as well as a project manager to a brand new challenge, she joined the HR team and is leading the recruiting firmwide for Cuningham. After 15 years in the design space it became clear that the reason she was so passionate about designing interior spaces was because it was all about people. Creating space for people shifted from a three dimensional space, to creating space to be seen and heard as well as space to grow and nurture a career.
NEWH was a driving factor in this shift, as being a member of the executive committee provided yearly learning around team building, goal setting, communication and strategic planning. These very people driven fundamentals became the catalyst for change. NEWH has been an important building block for growth and Brittany is looking forward to continuing to support the vision and mission of NEWH.
Outside of work, Brittany is the mother of two kiddos, and through the pandemic has learned to lean into new activities and creative outlets and has taken up painting and is currently toying with the idea of more creative writing. She has passed the passion for travel onto her family and just loves that every time they get home, the question is: where to next!

Kevin hails from South Africa and has over 35 years' experience in the Interiors sector.
He began his professional studies in Interior Design, but intrigue in Shoe Design took him to Milan where he did his training at the world-renowned school of shoe and handbag design, Arsutoria Milano. He went on to design for a leading shoe manufacturer. However, his love of Interior Design took over, and after 5 years he took the challenge and launched his own Interior Design business in a humble studio above a Classic Car showroom…which launched a successful business and saw him completing numerous large residential and hospitality projects in South Africa and the UK.
During this time he realised that although his passion was creative, his strength was in communication and project management, and so when he relocated to the UK in 2005 (in search of good weather…!) it was a natural progression into business development and the Hospitality supply sector, is where he has found his niche.
Kevin's strength in leadership and management, along with his passion for good design has allowed him to build relationship with leading Interior design studios and to be involved with the design, manufacture and supply of interior furnishings in numerous 4 and 5 star Hotels globally … something he does not take for granted.
"I cherish the ongoing relationships I have established in my career, which carry me from one project to the next. I have learned to value the mentor figures that have been involved in my life, and now to hopefully do the same for the next generation. Don't ever forget where you came from and make sure you laugh and have fun (and a few glasses of wine) whilst doing so."

Rebekah studied ‘Spatial Design' at Arts University Bournemouth and began her career as an Interior Designer with husband and wife team, Goff Associates, where she first experienced the hospitality sector.
After taking a break to raise her 2 children in Niger, West Africa, Rebekah returned in 2006 to join the team at Charles Leon Associates where she assisted with business development, before gaining procurement skills at Benjamin West. In 2009, she joined the cruise sector as a FF&E Designer at AD associates where she has enjoyed years of collaboration with manufacturers, suppliers and representatives.
Rebekah's various NEWH roles have given her opportunities for personal growth, and being awarded the Joyce Johnson Award in recognition of her service to the NEWH UK Chapter was the highlight of her career.
A few things you might not know about Rebekah are that she once enjoyed being behind the scenes at the Nürburgring pitstops when a friend had a car in some of the races. She also helped out on a friend's dairy farm by milking cows and driving tractors to move mountains of manure into the slurry pit. The biggest challenge was raising a young family on the edge of the Sahara desert with only solar power as a source of electricity!
She is very proud of her children. Her son is now studying Illustration at Arts University Bournemouth and her daughter is studying Photo journalism in Cardiff - the passion finally realised

From humble beginnings on a farm in Nebraska, Sandy Banks has catapulted herself into a wildly successful career in hospitality. Raised with a DIY spirit and strong work ethic, she learned to sew and make her own clothes at the age of six, embarking on a lifelong love affair with fabric and its transformative power. Unable to find clothes she liked in stores, Sandy designed and made her own wardrobe, strongly influenced by favorite designers Pucci, Paco Rabanne, Mary Quant and Rudi Gernreich. She discovered an early outlet for her passion as the art director for her high school theater troupe, making costumes, building sets, and collaborating on designs that brought stories to life. Sandy majored in Art and studied architectural drawing in college but always followed her curiosity to seek out a creative education beyond the classroom. As a fabric store manager in Los Angeles, she expanded her love and knowledge of textiles, working with film studio costumers and museum textile restoration experts in addition to apparel and interior designers. It was this job that gave Sandy the creative, business and people skills that would prepare her for the next chapter in her career.
Sandy joined P/Kaufmann, Inc. in 1983, playing a key role in the formation of the company's Contract division, both as one of the first sales representatives and as an invaluable consultant on initial product and color lines. There she found a kindred spirit in Curtis Breedlove, an early mentor and current President of P/Kaufmann Contract, with whom she shared a background in art and design that influenced PKC's aesthetic and sales strategy. Sandy has been awarded PKC's Salesperson of the Year numerous times during the past 30 years. In 2010, she was promoted to Western Sales Manager, where she has consistently grown her business in key West Coast, Las Vegas and Hawaiian markets. Sandy has maintained and expanded a loyal base of clients and brands by championing her customers' design vision and bottom line; by asking the right questions and giving honest answers; by conducting business with integrity, passion and style. Sandy's reputation as a champion for her clients is well deserved, but her legacy as a champion for women in the hospitality industry may be even more enduring. Starting her career as a working mother in the early 1980's, she pushed back against prevailing corporate expectations, finding inspiration in a growing network of women who, like herself, sought to forge their own path and redefine success in the world of business. Sandy joined NEWH in 1984 as one of its early members and currently serves on its International Board of Directors. Along with mentoring new P/Kaufmann Contract sales representatives, Sandy has been instrumental in developing NEWH‘s mentoring and scholarship programs; nurturing the best and brightest of hospitality's next generation as a way to pay forward all of the support and guidance she has received.
Family, creative pursuits and causes close to her heart fill Sandy's personal life. She counts daughter Amber-an educator and mentor to women in her own right- as her greatest achievement. Sandy still sews her own clothes and collects art and textiles during her extensive travels. The inspiration she derives from other cultures enhances her personal and professional design aesthetic and informs her worldview. Through her support of organizations including Wildlife Waystation, Earth Justice and the ACLU, Sandy expresses her passion for animal welfare, the environment and social justice.
