New Star Books is a Vancouver-based Books publishing company... New Star Books operates on the stolen Coast Salish lands of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish), səl̓ilw̓ətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations. This land was never ceded, sold, or given up, and as we continue to gather and work in so-called Vancouver, we recognise that our presence here is a solemn privilege... We acknowledge the Government of Canada's financial support for our publishing activities through the Canada Council for the Arts and the Canada Book Fund.
