"I have successfully managed type type 2 diabetes by keeping my A1C within normal range through watching my diet and the dreaded word "exercise"! During this time of the year, it is difficult to do both of those things due to all the yummy food and treats at holiday parties and weather puts a damper on "outside" exercise, which has many options, so I have to to continue my exercise routine indoors. I try to keep my "will power going" to resist or have a very small portion of sweet treats. When my will power doesn't support me that well, I need to exercise more to make up for it. This process has allowed me to be insulin free for many years now!"
