Gary Chaisson

Mr. Chaisson has over 35 years experience managing cardiovascular product lines and cardiology practices. Additionally, he held a key technical position with Advanced Cardiovascular Systems. A.C.S ultimately became the vascular interventional arm of Guidant Corp. Mr. Chaisson has served in a variety of consulting and advisory roles with over 16 cardiovascular and orthopedic device start up companies, all of which were successfully acquired or entered the market as an IPO. Mr. Chaisson has played an instrumental role in over 22 FDA phase I or phase II medical device clinical trials. In addition to broad clinical experience, Mr. Chaisson holds numerous patents on a variety of interventional cardiology and cardiovascular surgery devices and has published over 70 articles and 4 book chapters.

Peter Fail

Job Titles:

Dr. Fail is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is level three certified in the cardiovascular computed tomography (CT) experience program. Dr. Fail is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Medical Association. He has written or co-authored numerous research papers, abstracts, book chapters, and medical presentations in his specialty.

Rick Abben

Dr. Abben has a broad experience in both interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology, and is a lecturer, researcher, and published author in both areas. With this background, he has successfully developed a large clinical practice, consistently being named by both Louisiana Life and New Orleans magazines as one of Louisiana's "Best Doctors." He has particular expertise in cardiac rhythm devices, having been one of the South's first implanters of a cardiac resynchronization pacemaker in 1998. His experience has allowed him to organize and direct an ongoing physician's training course in device therapy. In addition, for twenty-five years he co-directed an international cardiology symposium in cardiovascular interventions entitled "Principles and Perspectives in Interventional Cardiology," an annual venue that has constantly attracted the leading minds in interventional cardiology as faculty members.

Vinod Nair

Dr. Nair has over twenty years of experience in both interventional cardiology and computer science. He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, nuclear cardiology, vascular medicine, endovascular medicine and cardiovascular computed tomography. Dr. Nair is actively involved in the community. He is a member of the American Medical Association and American Heart Association, and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
